This is my first personal review out of hundreds of purchases. I've had psoriasis since I was a kid. Since adulthood, I have controlled it by not itching and using some type of anti itch ointment. Anyone that has had it knows that if you don't itch it gets better. The last few years I've struggle with a couple patches. Struggling to not itch and it not going away as quickly. The current one, I've had for over a year. I tried different creams and ointments. Nothing helped, until I found this. This stuff really is amazing. Within two days, the dry skin and irritation wad significantly reduced. After a week, almost completely gone. In my 40 years, I've never seen anything work this well and this fast. Both my mother and brother suffer from severe psoriasis. Theirs is mostly on the edges of their scalp around their face and ears. I have the super mild form. I have no red patches whatsoever (thank God), BUT, my face has constantly been dry and flakey. Brow areas: flakey, Middle of my brow: SUPER FLAKEY. Cheeks: FLAKEY AF. The media could not be loaded.  I am so thankful i found this product. I was told by doctor i had hand and feet dermatitis.. my hands and feet had cuts and wore so dry and tick on skin. They prescribed triamcinolone acetonide and made it worse for me. I stoped using it and im on a page where people suffer from ezema, psoriasis and problems similiar to mine and i have tried so many things in 2 years that ive had this.. a lady put that she tried this and made the difference in just one week so me wanting to try everything and anything looked it up and bought it. I have suffered from severe psoriasis for the past 7-8 years. The dozens of jars, bottles and tubes of medication (OTC and prescription) filling my cabinets is proof I have “tried it all”….nothing rid or even lessened my body of the numerous patches, I bought this amazing product, applied a very thin wipe twice a day, within 48 hours the patches are drastically reduced in size and the red scaly skin is improving. Diagnosed with psoriasis in 2015. Solved it with traditional rather than biologic medicines however there were scars left. Used MG217 with coal tar which helped with both the psoriasis and the scars. But could not find it except for exorbitant prices on AMAZON so decided to try CLOTOSC ointment. It cleared up a scar in two weeks that had been on my leg for over a year. Cleared scar on my back in three weeks. I am amazed at this product. I have stopped using it and wonder whether it would help with another outbreak. I am determined to heal the area of atopic dermatitis on my leg and a retired nurse who worked in dermatology recommended coal tar as a treatment for this with good success. Salicylic acid is also beneficial for this condition. This is an excellent product but as with anything that is used for any dermatitis, it will take weeks, usually, for the dermatitis to completely heal. It is effective for sure. This stuff starts working faster than the steroid I was prescribed, & a little goes a long way. The product has a strong smell in the jar, but I never smell it on my head, and nobody else has complained about the smell either, so you don’t have to worry about it once you apply it. I love that I can put it on at night & let it work on my scalp over night & feel a marked decrease in irritation as soon as the next day. I've tried just about everything for my rampant ingrown hairs. They're bad. Like deform your face and body bad.I've been using this for about 2 weeks and it's doing wonders. Some bumps immediately resolved but the deeper ones are slowly coming to the surface. So you need to be consistent with use.It helps with inflammation immediately though, which is a huge plus.I also kinda love the smell (unlike some of the other tar products that are unbearable). It smells so good I'm suspicious there's coal tar at all but it works so well it doesn't really matter.It's very greasy and gets my bangs all oily but since I'm home a day who cares.This and mg217 sal acid are my two holy grails for ingrowns currently. I have severe psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. My back, arms and legs are covered with guttate psoriasis and I have a drawer full of prescribed creams and ointments but nothing worked.I saw the reviews for this product and decided to give it a go. It’s amazing, my skin has improved massively in just a few days! My back is very much improved and it has almost disappeared from my arms. I have ordered two more tubs and will be definitely be ordering more.I would imagine it would need to be used regularly to keep on top of it but I am really happy so far. I never write reviews but I want other people to benefit. I have suffered with psoriasis for years, I've tried all the creams, I've had light therapy, I've tried everything. I bought this product on Sunday and now, on Wednesday evening, my elbows are completely clear! My legs, which were alot worse, are about 80% clear, and that is with 3 days use! Update: the psoriasis returned. Applying the ointment doesn't have the same effect of clearing the inflammation.Wasn't bothered to check for possibility of side effects, but finally did. The first article was from cancer.gov warning about the cancer causing effect of using coal tar. I haven't done due diligence on salicylic acid but already have decided to stop using this ointment.Actually, I got used to this ointment. Within 4 days, i.e. 4 applications, psoriasis' was cleared and raised veins had calmed and was no longer raised, awful itch gone.To stay clear of psoriasis, it is about finding out what food groups to avoid... still on the journey.(Initial impression)Burns on contact with psoriasis' scales, similar to applying vinegar but less intense. With vinegar, it burns but eases off soon and takes away the itch for some time. Unsure of long term use of vinegar so bought this based on feedback. I’m not a review writer but I wanted to say how amazed I am. I developed Psoriasis a year ago, tried everything from steroid cream to Light therapy.
