I bought this shampoo to help with my hair thinning on the top. I will re-update this review in 2-3 months as they say it takes that long to kick in. So far the shampoo has less chemicals in it than my other shampoo (suave), and seem way more natural. Could definitely feel the difference the first time I used it. I'm new to this, so I probably should have known better. My bangs seem to be thinner than they once were, so I did some research and bought this based on the results of a number of shampoos surveyed for improving thinning hair - leaving the impression that it treats the problem. But the bottle actually says it improves the visual effects of hair loss and promotes the appearance of healthier hair. That is not what I thought I was buying, and based on the ratings I read, not what others thought they were buying either. It's a perfectly fine shampoo. It cleans your hair and doesn't strip color any more than other shampoos. The scent is pleasant to me. But it doesn’t promote hair growth and it doesn’t improve the visual effects of thinner hair. I would recommend this shampoo to anyone looking to liven up their bodiless locks. This shampoo definitely added volume to my hair. My hair tends to be thinner around the temples, I blame years of wearing tight buns and ponytails. After using this shampoo I can say my scalp is less visible in the temple areas which is a huge relief for me. This shampoo is very thick and while the bottle is small, a little goes a long way. I work the shampoo into a lather with my hands before applying it to my roots. I found that if I just apply the shampoo directly to my hair like normal I don't get a lather due to the thickness and I can't equally distribute it without wasting more product. One thing to be aware of is the scent. This product contains eucalyptus oil which can come across as strong to some people. While I do find it to be a bit too overpowering for my liking, it's not a deal-breaker because I know that eucalyptus oil is synonymous with decongestant and antiseptic properties. I bought the product a 4 weeks ago. So far no complaints. The shampoo feels good on my hair, so far so good and it has some mint smell and I like that as well, so I am going to come back and update my review to reflect that. For now, I am happy with the product. Read more

I have been using clinical effects shampoo with their foam - together they are the only products that has given me actual new hair growth after 25 years - took me Approx. 6- 7 weeks until it was visible. Foam can dry scalp if you use too much at one time. Read more

I decided to try this after using Dr. Shapiro’s hair loss shampoo because when goggled it supposedly was rated no. 1 for hair loss shampoos. I continued to have hair loss every day, so I have gone back to Dr. Shapiro’s. It’s twice the cost, but I literally had no daily hair loss while on it. Read more

Im not seeing any big change as far as hair loss is concerned but it may be too soon to tell. It takes a lot of the shampoo to get a good lather. I do not care for the medicinal scent nor the way it leaves my hair feeling after rinsing out. My hair is not soft and smooth as with other shampoos.
