After owning this for a little over a month, both zipper tags has broken off. and it will not stay in the locked position it keeps trying to collapse on me. If I wasn't out of the return window I would have returned it.Update! Clevermade contacted me after my 1st review. Love this! Sturdy and well-made. Perfect for my weekly food shopping runs, which can take me 2 hours or more going to several different stores. Keeps everything cool until I get home. I used to use hard cooler for this but it took up so much space in my trunk, I had to remove it when not in use, and I often forgot to put it back in before I went shopping. ***Reviewers Note: Before posting this review I attempted to resolve the issues that I have with this product via the company's stated method of communication--emailing info@clevermade.com. I received no response. ***I purchased this product approximately nine months ago and have used it a couple times. I purchased the cooler with the intention of using it as a temporary method of temperature stabilizing goods purchased between the store and the house. I have not tested the cooler's ability to keep things cold for an extended period of time. The last time I attempted to use the cooler, I found it difficult to open. Once I was able to open the cooler I realized that there were several points of contact in the interior that had fused together. I did not store this cooler in abnormally hot conditions. Some of the fused areas tore upon the opening of the cooler. I read another review that stated that a similar situation happened to them. The company responded to that reviewer by saying "To be honest, this is the first time I've heard of this issue with our SnapBasket Cooler." Now, this is at least the second time that they have heard about it. As you can see from the pictures, there is no additional insulation material between the PEVA interior and the Polyester exterior with the exception of the lid. The black elastic strap that spans the lid during storage also left a discoloration of the lid.From the physical evidence I conclude that this is a poorly made and possibly poorly designed product. From the lack of response from the company when I expressed my concerns, I can only conclude that they are not serious about resolving customer concerns--even if they attempt to contact me after this review.Caveat Emptor Read more

I am so disappointed in this cooler. Don’t be fooled by its “clever” “cute” design. It’s useless when it’s not leak-proof (as promoted) and within hours leaks all over your car. It’s also not well made. I’ve used it TWICE on two road trips. The first time, the water leaked all over the car and the zipper broke off on one side. Just like othe reviews have stayed. I tried it again another trip and the same thing happened. I had to put it inside a plastic bin to avoid ALL the water leaking out. Then the final zipper broke. I can no longer zip it closed easily. I bought it more than a year ago but had just gotten round to using it as I was recovering from a knee replacement surgery. I was excited to show off my cool new “CleverMade” cooler for a first road trip. Really, Really disappointed in the quality of their product. I have old rolling coolers more than 10 years old that still have their zippers intact. I would not recommend this product, nor buy it again. Read more

I'm beyond impressed!!! I bought this cooler to take all my own foods for Ragnar -- 200 mile relay running event (and we went down a day early, so rather than this being a 36 hour event, it was closer to a 60 hour event). I don't eat the same foods as most runners & I don't eat out, so having my own food (in a cooler as it would be in a refrigerator at home) was key!!A couple months later I'm heading for a 4-day weekend in the Grand Canyon. Flying food from Tennessee, I thought, would be a little more difficult, but with this cooler -- NO, it wasn't. I only took foods to supplement me while I was out there knowing the lodge where we were staying had dining options. So I first added an emergency foil sheet (the foil blankets we get at a finish line of a marathon) to keep everything colder. Then I added tons of those hard / plastic ice packs (frozen before adding). I then added all my food. Yogurt, boiled eggs, my probiotics, avocados, and sweet peppers.Everything was in the refrigerator until the moment I left for the airport. I filled the cooler with all these things at 5 p.m. on a Thursday, my flight was at 6:30. I then took the filled cooler & placed it into my medium sized suitcase -- it fit perfectly. Now...I could "check" the cooler at the airport without worry of the airlines damaging it.We arrived in Las Vegas that night....and at the Grand Canyon around 4 a.m. local time (6 a.m. Nashville time). I opened the cooler, everything was completely cold still.The next day -- everything still enormously cold!!!The next day -- everything still very cold, but at that time I added three ziplocks of ice from the inn where we were staying.The rest of the 4-day weekend -- no more ice & everything stayed SOOOO COLD!!! I will tell you I was shocked.So....if you're a runner & taking your own food on locations to races (especially if needing your own hydration & food for an Ultra), I HIGHLY recommend this cooler. We use this primarily for when BBQing on the roof of our condo. For this function it is perfect because it keeps drinks and dips cool - and also provides enough storage for other items we need to move with us.That said, the first time we decided to fill it up with ice (last weekend) - as the ice melted, the cold water was slowly leaking out of the bottom of the cooler making a terrible mess and it was a disappointing surprise to us. The sell page says "leak proof" and this is certainly not leak proof.We will continue to use it for when we're BBQing items and travelling with meat and dips and some bottled drinks, but I would never use it again for filling up with ice or using it as a cooler. I read many reviews & searched before deciding on this soft cooler, but am disappointed. The ice melted after only 2 hours on our boat, and it was shaded. We accidentally tipped it a bit and water ran out the top zipper area, everywhere. The top is not spill proof! The cooler itself is lovely and the quality is good. The sizes snap in to place to hold the cooler straight up, and snap back down to fold flat which is awesome! It would be ok for a quick outing, but with only 2 hours of ice, not good for much else. I was thinking about doing uber eats just to make some extra money. The bag that uber eats sells is ridiculously big and I did not think I would need something like that. I was looking around here for something that I could use for the food deliveries and this caught my eye. I read the reviews and they looked pretty good and that made me buy it.When it arrived I was confused as the box was quite flat. I opened it up and saw that the bag folds into itself to become flat which is awesome because it saves space. The materials of the product look high quality and durable. I noticed that it says it is a cooler but you can put hot food in as well. It would be a good idea to just put some aluminum foil in there just in case. I have made quite a few deliveries and everything seems to fit in the bag. Also, nobody has complained about their food being hot enough. One thing I have noticed is that smells seem to get trapped inside of the bag so it would be a good idea to clean it once in a while.Overall, I am quite happy with this product. it works well for food delivery and if I want to go on a picnic with friends and keep drinks cold this will come in handy at that point as well. Great cooler, large size. I love that this cooler collapses to store away!! I don’t have to dedicate a lot of space for it, I just fold it down and tuck it away. My husband and I share it. Working 12 hr shifts together, we both need to eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks at work so we wanted to share one big lunch bag. This works perfectly and now we have a great coooler for summer camping trips too. The only thing it’s missing is a shoulder strap - this bag is so big, it does really need one. Read more

The cooler keeps food and drink cold for a good long time (we never time tested it), but the materials used aren't as good as we'd hoped. After one road trip down south, where we weren't rough with the bag at all, there's already wear on the outer fabric. There's also some damage on the interior lining as well. We didn't put anything in there with super sharp edges, so the lining inside should hold up better. Would I buy again?? I may, but with the knowledge that it's not capable of withstanding regular wear. Read more
