The product claims that the handle is made of wood. In fact, the handle is made of an incredibly thin and flimsy plastic. The end of the blade carousel does not fit into the handle, as practically all other shavettes I’ve owned do. As a newby this was my first shaver. Used it last week and didn't like the way the shave felt. It felt cheap, the blades were dull, the stroke glide was rough, and the shaver handle feels too light, cheap, and plasticky. That plastic wooden handle is so cringe. After purchasing and using the Parker SRW Straight Edge Razor. The difference was obvious and very stark. The parker felt smooth, balanced and was just an overall better shaving experience for a second time shaver like me.
