I have dark brown hair that's turning white, especially around my part and face. It grows so fast that professional coloring costs a fortune, and home coloring was drying it out, so I thought I'd try this. This is the Spiced Cognac. I just did it a few hours ago: I shampooed my hair really well, towel dried, applied this and wrapped it in saran wrap for 2 hours, then rinsed and conditioned. This was easy to apply and rinsed out easily. My hair isn't dry like after permanent dye. I don't know how long this will last, I'll try to update the review. This color is too copper for my hair, but if I was less gray I think the highlights would be great. I only used half the bottle. I'm going to try a darker color next time, but I'm wondering if I can use this shade also and create highlights. I will use this again, just in a darker shade. I might update to 5 stars depending on how long it lasts and if the color changes. Read more

My daughter has dark blonde hair and after 30 minutes with heat it literally just washed out and I didn’t even use shampoo. In the evening we used shampoo since it had already washed out and her damp hair got pink on her pillow. No idea where the pink came from since it doesn’t show at all in her hair. My son has super light blonde hair and his did not take at all. I would not recommend this brand. Read more

I have been letting my natural gray color grow out. I have found that my gray untreated hair is a bit more course and I felt like it needed something that added shine. I bought the Clear Clairol Professional Jazzing Semi Permanent Hair Color and not only did it add beautiful shine, but my hair feels a bit more relaxed. Since using this product my hair is so much easier to style!This product was very easy to use.
