Honestly, I don't think there is a way to check on where they get their lion's mane from; I've tried. I would suggest purchasing from The Reserve, as that's a product I've tried and enjoyed. Theirs is twice the cost, but it doesn't taste like flour, actually dissolves, and is visibly darker in color, thus convincing me that Cherie Sweets is either not Lion's Mane or at least cut with something.
