I am beginning my second bottle. It is very fragrant, but the smell is nice. It does reduce hair loss for me, except during PMS, when I keep losing a lot of hair. The conditioner is really deep, which is perfect for me in winter, when cold dry air damages my hair.Now, I would prefer for the formula to have parabens (which actually are not very likely to produce allergies and in general quite safe) instead of Methylisothiazolinone, which has been linked to allergic reactions and even toxicity in high doses. I am not too concerned about that ingredient only because these are not leave on products, but still.Update: The first “batch” almost didn’t lather and now the shampoo does lather way more. So I guess they increased the amount of surfactants. I liked it not that foamy because I felt it didn’t move from my scalp during the 3-5 mins you are supposed to wait before rinsingSecond update:The last bottle I got is more watery and lathers more and I feel it is less effective than the previous four I have used up so far. Let me start by saying, I didn’t have high hopes. Being a shampoo and conditioner I didn’t think it would have that much effect, however, I’m pleasantly surprised.I’ve been dealing with what I think is just an extended period of postpartum hair loss. I’ve been cleaning small dog sized hair balls out of my shower drain for 14mo. I’ve been using this product for a little over a month and have noticed a significant decrease in the amount of hair in the drain.As far as the feel of it goes. It’s ok. It doesn’t lather quite as well as others but is probably better for my hair, so it’s ok. And my hair texture afterwards is ok. Not super light and airy as usual but I’m happy there is more of it. I got this shampoo and conditioner today, and I am very excited to see how it effects my hair loss. I have only used it once so far, but I am already impressed! I can really feel the caffeine on my scalp, a pleasant tingly sensation. From what I understand, caffeine is supposed to be really good for hair regrowth. There are other ingredients in there that are also supposed to be helpful, like Argan oil and Saw Palmetto. I also really like the scent of this shampoo and conditioner!Giving four stars so far because I am impressed with the scent and ingredients. The bottle says I should see results in 4 to 6 weeks. Great product made of ll natural ingredients. It feels and smells great. It takes a lot of shampoo to lather which is annoying given the price, but my hair feels amazing. There’s a little tingling sensation after showering which is also amazing. I have some skin breakouts on my forehead if I use it too often, I believe it’s from the biotin of the conditioner I guess we can’t have everything hahaha at least my hair loss has diminished visibly. I started using the shampoo and conditioner in Dec. as directed. I also was using mens minoxidil and iron supplements. as directed by my dermatologist ,added to that, collagen and biotin every day per my own research. I no longer have any bald spots. I've tried the challenger tea tree shampoo and co dictionary and it's amazing so I'm sure this is also going to be great. Reviews are good so I will post an update on hair retention....product smells amazing though when it arrived the seals were busted and product had leaked out. Very unfortunate because it isnt exactly an inexpensive product. Read more
