I love this brand so much! Their packaging is beautiful and the makeup is super pigmented. It lasts throughout my 12 hour shifts as a nurse. The shimmery colors on the eyeshadow palette shimmer, but are not too over the top. I bought the C08 eyeshadow palette. I also have their C02 blush, which is an orange pink color with a bit of shimmer, and I love it so much (it's the dark blue compact in the picture). I always get complements on my makeup. I got the C08 MORANDI when it was on sale for $8.99. It is nice but the colors are not as intense as shown in the company's photo of swatches. My swatches were made after 3 or 4 swipes of each color and, as you can see, most are only vivid when the flash was used. The dark purple looks black without bright lighting and the butter one is close to nonexistent There a 3 colors that appear so alike it will leave little difference when applied to the eye. The worst part is that the glitters don't cling well, don't meld with the base and so disappear quickly. I'm returning it. Read more

I really like the packaging. The mirror is great and the box beautiful and sturdy. The shadows are firmly pressed and have mostly avarage and some sheer pigmentation. The tones range from burgundy, rusty brown, orange, peach to transparent gold and bone. Both the matte as well as shimmery shades applied much better with tightly packed natural hair brushes. Synthetic brushes caused the shimmery shades to flake all over my face and the Matt's to apply sheer and patchy. There is a cute silver glitter in a sticky base with tiny stars and holographic bits in it. This glitter sticks well to the skin, but it would most definitely injure your eye if it accidentally got in it and therefore should only be used on the cheeks not the eyelids in my opinion. Overall it is an O.K palette if you like orange eyeshadow. This is my second Catkin palette and I won't be buying any more. Read more

So, I received my pallet yesterday and it was a pain in the butt to even get the plastic off, that protects it during shipping. Everything is in Chinese so I don't even know the ingredients or anything. It opens up like a vintage lipstick case, and I really like that feature... The pallet was protected by a thin piece of clear plastic, so I was surprised the eyeshadow didn't break. The colors are a bit off, some of the darker colors are actually light and The orange is like a dark, almost pumpkin pie color, but the pallet works great for Fall season. The mirror is protected by a thin piece of plastic as well, but it has a tab at the top corner, for easy removal, and that's another bonus. I guess I'm just picky but, the plastic they wrapped it in for shipment, said something about an expiration date and lot number, but it's nowhere to be found on the box, nor is it posted on the pallet. ALWAYS LOOK FOR AN EXPIRATION DATE.For an almost twenty dollar eyeshadow pallet, I will be very upset if I am allergic to it. Read more

These are def beautiful colors, very nice shadows. Looked really nice on. Only problem I had was after adding the creamy shimmer. For some reason, after adding it, I had a problem adding more of the darker brown matte to darken the outer v. It got super patchy. I had a problem with it fluffing almost entirely off some spots and only sticking to one strip. So, it looked like I had a stripe on the outer corner. I tried adding a deeper shade of one of my Colourpop shadows to it and it seemed to fix it ok. Was able to save it after that. I will def reach for it again though. Read more

I really, really like this palette. I am a bit of an eyeshadow freak, and I have hundreds of colors from all sorts of brands, but I've never felt compelled to write a review about any of them. This palette, however, really impressed me. I've worn the blue/purple color in the bottom left, which I blended with the purple shade to the right of it in order to have it fade up toward my eyebrow, and the effect was really lovely. For the picture posted above I'm wearing the middle and left center pink shades on my kid with the right center pink in the crease. I used a white pencil underneath so that they'd pop better. I’ve used catkin products - they’re well regarded in Asia for pigment and versatility. Their lipsticks are often etched with the traditional designs that match the packaging. When this arrived, the packaging was new. There’s a large mirror that makes it really easy to apply makeup. The colours are pigmented but definitely buildable and blendable. This set is perfect for travel size. The majority of them are shimmers (creamy and silky) with the grey, white, brown, and team as matte. The pink shade is a creamy pressed glitter formulation is similar to the one in Tati’s textured neutrals palette. This specific pallette Works well on my fair skin, it may be harder for darker skin tones as there isn’t a deep enough crease shade. However, Catkin’s 9 pan pallettes are much more pigmented and would work wonders on all skin tones! Read more
