It was difficult for me to find info on this ingredient-wise and just swatch-wise and because there are no real swatches on the skin in the description, I was a little hesitant to buy it because it looked so light. I normally find the Korean shade 23 just right, if not a little too light sometimes but this one I purchased (C01 Natural) seemed fairly similar to shade 23, maybe even a little darker than I anticipated. I have south East Asian skin btw- kinda yellow tone. the coverage on this is somewhere between light and medium. It doesn't cover acne redness but it evens out my general skin tone. Over acne, it struggles but mostly because it is not full coverage. It's not matte, more satin and leaves a healthy slight "glow" behind. I have a couple dry patches on my face and they're a little clingy looking with this on, so this wouldn't be suitable for very dry skin. It's better for normal/combination skin. Its a Chinese brand. China recently lifted its animal testing policies but this company (Catkin) has been around for a few years so.... *thinking emoji.* Anyways, theres no mention of SPF so make sure you put sunscreen on before this if you want that coverage. It comes with a refill.The image with my arm is just one small layer, patted directly from the sponge to the cushion to my arm. I’m in love. First the packaging alone is worth the money because it’s easily refillable! The coverage is gorgeous, i can’t even feel it on my face. However I will say that although the coverage is buildable it isn’t thick and is meant for just a layer or two on your skin to even you out and make you look like a glowing goddess. If you’re looking for something that works like a liquid foundation or concealer this likely isn’t for you. I don’t really wear much makeup and use a different concealer for my horrible genetics that cause huge black spots under my eyes if I’m going out, but for daily wear this cushion works beautifully!!! As you can see in the photos it doesn’t completely cover up freckles, which is not something I want, but it evens out skin tone and actually perfectly matches my skin. When I add more layers to build it up it does get darker, so I imagine you could go lighter with this and still be totally fine. What took forever to finally get all on was very nice. It is very light-weight but I noticed a slight tackiness to it even after several minutes. I resolved that with a translucent powder. I purchased this item after seeing someone use it on YouTube. After I received it and finally got around to using it, I discovered the color was too light (it was the darker of the 2 options offered). When I contacted Catkin to ask about an exchange or refund, I was told a darker color was coming in the next few weeks. I liked the product itself but the color just didn't work so I said I would be happy to exchange once the newer color becomes available. Imagine my surprise when I was told that a refund or exchange was not possible because I "had already used the product". How the hell are you supposed to know if the color works without using it? They don't offer samples so you are playing roulette with your money. They offered me a 50% off coupon for the next product but I have no idea if that one will be the right color either so this could just go on and on and on while they rake in my money. Unless you know for a dead-certain fact that the color is good for you, I would pass on this product. It is a nice product though, which is why I gave it some good stars. It's just that the company and their return policy sucks. Either offer samples or have a decent return/exchange. I never even thought about buying a foundation on Amazon. Usually I would go for Dior or Armani. But I heard this brand from my friend and it worked out like a miracle. Previously I tried Whoo brand cushion foundation. But things like these dries quickly after you open them. This one is very very reasonably priced so I bought all the colors.Yes it worked. I have oily combination skin type. My cheeks are very dry while T zone shines after about 2 hours.Coverage is medium to high level.Very light and matte finish.Good for reapply if needed, will not clog.If you bought both colors, you can easily create a layered finish（like contouring）Plus, the box and case is so pretty.Overall I am very happy with this product and will buy again.
