This is my second baby monitor after my first one stopped working. I like bullet points so here they are:PROS:- LOVE how the screen display and sound automatically turn off when there is no distinct sounds coming from the baby room, and they automatically turn back on when the camera side detects a sound. This is SUPER important to me since the screen on my old monitor didn't turn off, and even on the dimmest setting was still pretty. We weren't able to sleep that well. But this CasaCam monitor, we could sleep much better without the distracting light and sound coming from the monitor.- Excellent battery life- Convenient charging with charging base- Price point is great and I got this on sale :)- Solid connection and reliable coverage of all the rooms in our house- Upgrade from the "interchangeable lens system" -> now can zoom without having to manually change lensesCONS:- There is no option to buy just a monitor if it stopped working. Hope CasaCam comes out with this option soon- Night vision is not as clear as day vision, but I guess that's just the nature of night vision? Read more

I've used the infant optics DX8 for the past 10 months, it was ok, it performed as advertised. Recently we lost our home to a widow and the infant optics burned with the house. Obviously we replaced it but the second unit had a range problem and was disconnecting constantly. We were at about 25ft from the baby's room, this was very annoying.Before I decided to replace the defective unit, I gave this casacam a shot, boy am I happy, much higher resolution (720p) and it's a night and day difference coming from my previous 144p system (not sure about the real resolution but that's how I think it looks).In short this CasaCam BM200 is better in every way possible and cost significantly less.I highly recommend it. The media could not be loaded.  We purchased this and two additional cameras after our 7 year old Multi-camera system from Motorola Died its final death.I researched multiple other cameras, both from Major manufacturers, and from online only companies such as CasaCam. We needed 3 cameras, the ability to completely mute the screen unit. I liked how the CasaCam runs off USB power, which made it easy to provide additional charge locations with extra old Phone chargers and Micro USB cords.CasaCam didn't provide a ton of product images, or user manuals available before we purchased the unit so I shared them here in this review.Initial impressions are very good. The build quality seems to be very good on the control unit, and the cameras. I was originally against the wall mount pedestal but it actually works well and provides both horizontal and vertical mount hooks. We didn't use the included wall anchors and instead used 3M COMMAND picture hangers.The bundled camera comes pre-synced. The two others synced very quickly after following the simple instructions.Video and audio quality seems to be very high. It does appear to be about a 1 Second delay from what happens and what is shown on the screen. This isn't an issue as its minimal, but if you snap your fingers you'll notice it.VOX mode lets you "sleep" the screen unit, and have it automatically wake to whichever camera detects sounds. Initial tests show it does NOT wake up to noise machines, or subtle sounds. It will require longer testing to see what other ambient sounds wake it up. But there is a Low and High mode which I'm assuming adjusts the sensitivity.CONS: The full touch screen control unit has only one button. The Sleep/Wake/Power button. I kind of wish it had real buttons for at least the volume control. Without Volume buttons, you need to wake the screen, then tap it to show the volume buttons. This isn't a deal breaker, but something to be aware of. Also, there is a SLIGHT load screen when you switch between cameras, or flip to the multi-camera view. This isn't a deal breaker yet, but we will see how it fairs in regular use. One other thing to note is it does seem like we need to prop the antenna up on the screen unit for all cameras to connect more quickly. Will need to try it outside from back yard and basement as well and update.Overall first impressions are very good, and I hope we get a long life out of this new setup. I will report back after a few days of use.UPDATE: 10 Months later.Overall the casacam system has worked well for us. The two biggest complaints I have are no dedicated volume buttons (requires tapping the screen and ensuring you dont tap it too many times to the wrong menu) and the time it takes to wake and switch/reconnect to the live camera (we have 3 cameras). At the end of the day these are not deal breakers, but it wears on you day after day. The quality is excellent, the multi camera support is good. The Range has been FINE.. but we haven't tried walking out side yet. And the price was good. Read more

We use this product for our 8 month old girl. The pan & tilt function really makes this baby monitor stand out from ones that I have seen before. I'm especially happy with the range of this product. My house was built decades ago with relatively thicker walls. We've been having some trouble with wifi, but this monitor has signal that's strong enough to reach and cover pretty much the entire house. Very satisfied with this purchase. Read more

Loving this monitor and camera set! I've been looking for a baby monitor that has a set of full features, and this CasaCam monitor does all the things that I was looking for in a baby monitor beautifully. I love watching my baby sleep on the beautiful 5'' monitor while I'm working downstairs. It allows me to be much more productive at home since I don't have to constantly check on her upstairs. The image quality is great and the touchscreen monitor is sensitive and accurate. What's REALLY cool about this monitor is the pan & tilt function. I can easily control the camera angle from the monitor. In addition, the sleek design of the camera reminds me somewhat of R2-D2. Who wouldn't love to use a baby monitor camera that looks like a cool bot of Star Wars? High recommend this! Read more

Ok this might be the best video monitor system I’ve tried! Features I love:Pan and tilt camera from the monitor- hello awesome visuals! And 3 times zoom!Super clean pictureLOVE the charging cradle- the last few systems we had the cord got loose from monitor and would alarm and eventually not charge at all.No complicated setup- literally charged the monitor, plugged in the camera then turned both on. Adjusted the camera and done!Temperature reading on monitor with alarm went it goes outside the parameters you set.So far this is the most amazing system I’ve seen!I also like that I can pair additional cameras!
