I have a hand-me-down Baby Trend EZ Flex-Loc car seat that has a hideous cover and no newborn head support so I started looking online for a head support and found this whole makeover set. I didn't know they made such a thing but now I don't have to look at the original ugly car seat cover. This one is a blush pink with very soft minky fabric. I like the pattern design on white for the lap blanket, canopy, and umbrella cover because it helps break up the pink a little. Like other reviewers said, the main seat cover is thin so you have to put it over the original cover that comes with your car seat to provide padding. I found a perfect match for the pink in the Travel Bug strap cover teether set. The set comes with 2 sizes of strap covers: 1 for small babies and 1 for older babies who are at the teething stage. I was able to wash everything on warm with the dryer on low heat without any problems. I find that the main seat cover fits snuggest if I stretch it over the sides where a seat belt would go. I don't need that part since my car seat locks into a base in my car. Definitely cheaper than buying a new car seat if you have one that is boyish and are having your first girl.Update (After 3 months of use): I still love it, except now that the weather is warming up (it's June in WA State) to the 70's, the minky fabric of the seat cover is too warm. My baby retains too much body heat with the fabric now. For her early spring birth (March 7) it has been perfect until now. I ordered this because we have two boys and this is our first girl so I wanted to make her things girly without having to buy a whole new car seat. (Car seat not expired) I have an Eddie Bauer car seat travel system in orange and it isn’t as deep as it needs to go, it will work but I might need to add some stay stitching on the sides so it doesn’t want to fall off, there is enough stretch it should be fine. I did not think the head support was soft and it was very stiff, even the bubbly pattern was stiff. So I used a different head support that is much more soft (Eddie Bauer head support in case anyone is wondering) also the Overlying cover isn’t as soft as a different one I had purchased on amazon so using the other one. So using the car seat cover and canopy but still happy with product. It did exactly what I was hoping for an much cheaper then ordering off the original makers website. Read more

I was so surprised when i received this item. very nice quality and definitely worth the price. it fit my carseat perfect. I had my son's carrier that I felt would totally be a waste to get rid of and by a new one for my daughter. my son is only 19 months and I was definitely looking for a cost effective option to use the things that we have and this helped to make the seat perfect for a little girl. Now that we are in the covid pandemic it will be really great to have a covering over the seat that will also protect her from people who fill the need to get too close. Read more

I LOVE THIS SET! I purchased this to re-use my daughter's carseat for our new baby since it has not expired. The original seat was not exactly pretty, although otherwise in good repair. This has made it soft and BEAUTIFUL (much prettier than the seat even was in new condition.) All of the pieces are well constructed. It's a beautiful shade of pink and I couldn't be happier!! I will say, it took me a GREAT deal of time to figure out how to put it on. (Our first daughter is nearly 3-so we have not touched the old carseat for about 2 years.) Figuring out how to remove the current canopy, and unthread/rethread all the straps was a task...but for someone familiar with your carseat-you could probably give it an over haul in about 10 minutes! The hood for the car seat is super small, lightweight, not waterproof or sturdy. This is huge for me as it’s a colder season! Also there is no Velcro or anything to attach the back securely. The only thing I love was the cover that attaches to the car seat for privacy. Everything else is too small to fit and I’m so bummed as I had high hopes for this as its adorable in color & pattern. This is so cute! I have 2 boys and am pregnant with a girl. I really wanted her carseat to be girly bc everything in my house is over run by boys. I put the carseat together with this and it's so cute. Some of the reviewers said it doesn't have enough padding. This is true, it does say on the packaging to leave the original car seat liner on underneath. I did this and the padding is good. My biggest problem with it is the bottom liner isn't quit tight enough and there was lots of loose fabric. I simple sewed a little elastic to both sides and secured it under the carseat (just like the original liner) and it fits much better now. I have a Graco infant car seat. Read more
