I was Too lazy to visit my local perfume store and opted to purchase this instead. DO NOT DO IT. I’ve been using this exact perfume for over 15 years, I know the consistency, color, ever lasting scent, feel on your skin, and how even after a shower you can still smell hints of the scent on your skin. THIS IS NOT ORIGINAL, has even given me a rash. The liquid has a greenish tint (not original, the original is a clear yellowish). The original you can smell the gardenia through the box... this one nothing. When you first apply it it smells strongish, almost like alcoholish, instead of the sweet gardenia. The scent on the original will last ALL day, this one... however long it takes to spray it and walk out of the bathroom.... and guys, I spray A LOT I have to replenish every 3 months or so.. this is not a good product, and it’s not worth the value either. My local store sells for roughly the same price... PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE. If you have purchased and are happy, then you’ve never owned a real perfume and I urge You to visit the nearest store and purchase one... you’ll notice the difference right away, and you’ll get endless compliments. After not being able to find my original Carolina Herrera in the department stores, I ordered online. I have worn this scent for decades and have always gotten many compliments. This bottle (s) (I unfortunately ordered 2!) has no scent and none of the gardenia or jasmine sweetness that I have always loved. I have used Carolina Herrer eau de Parfum since its origin. I would guess over 20 years. I received compliments every day from my husband and from perfect strangers for all of those years. Then, because it was no longer available from my source, I ordered from Amazon . There is an oiliness to eau de Parfum that you cannot feel on eau de toilette. It even looks thicker. Compare a bottle of oil to a bottle of water. Also, it had a lasting quality that this does not have. There is a difference. Also, no more compliments. Ever. My husband can't smell it. This is not the authentic Carolina Herrera usually the smell lasts all day and night. I put it on at 9am this morning and it is now a 12:40 and the scent is gone! Took me 2 bottles to figure without doubt to affirm this a TOTALLY FAKE PRODUCT! my firs bottle came last year right away noticed was not that strong as usual- I used Carolina Herrera for more than 20 years- but thought maybe I order the less strong version eau toilette checked bottle and bottle said eau perfume -strongest version- any way I could understand why smell was gone in 30 minutes...bottle went like in a month when this perfume was always almost too much, used to use tiny amount and never use it for work because it was almost scandalous!!I cannot believe ending a second bottle but I did then my sister came from CA to visit me and OMG! she has same perfume we compare ...COLOR IS WAY FAR FROM ORIGINAL, original is dark yellow liquid Amazon is water comparing with this fake one and of course FRAGANCE!I USED MY SISTER ALL DAY LONG EVEN CAN SMELL ORIGINAL UNTIL NEXT MORNING!I AM WIDE DISAPOINTED!
