OK so this is great Vitamin D3. There are many out there, but here's the problem with the others, including top names like Naturelo etc. They put WAY more Vitamin D into their capsules than stated on the label. Therefore, over 10 of the people who I instruct to take Vitamin D AND MYSELF, came back with VERY HIGH VITAMIN D levels on our last yearly test.So, after doing some research, some website measured the Vitamin D amount in each capsule of MANY brands of Vitamin D. THIS brand measured only a TINY amount more Vitamin D than stated on the label.SO, I switched everyone including myself to THIS brand,. Now, after a year of use, we were all tested again and our level were correct. You are supposed to take 35 IU of Vitamin D3 for every ONE pound of body weight. If the pills are the amount they say they are, ALL our Vitamin D levels come back at between 60 and 70. EXACTLY where I want it. THEREFORE, when it comes to Vitamin D, you do NOT want a company that puts WAY more Vitamin D in their capsule than stated on the label,. Horrible fish smell. I ended up throwing this product away as I've purchased it from a local pharmacy before and it didn't smell this bad. Had me questioning safety. Read more
Had read good reviews on this product so I ordered 2 bottles. When I opened the first bottle the pills had a rotten fishy smell. Went to fill out the return form only to find they are not eligible to be returned. So, money down the drain. I’ll stick with the Soloray brand I’ve been taking. Read more
