I am a 5'3 105 lb woman in construction. I don't know if this will be helpful to many women, as I know I am in the minority- but I want pants that are tough and that fit! I bought a few Carhartt womens pants, but they are typically still too big as the smallest size they produce is 2, sometimes even 4. I always have to end up wearing a belt with womens pants, and the material scrunches in the waist. It is also very hard to find womens pants made for tough work! I like these pants because they are made out of a thicker material, and they have an adjustable waist! That being said, it IS cut for a Big Boy. The crotch area has a lot more space than with womens pants. The legs are also "tent-ish"/ wide legged. However, since these have an adjustable waist, I can pull them at the tightest notch and wear them nice and high. I'm a small woman in my mid fifties, lean and strong build 5 feet one inch about 98 pounds. These fit awesome, right length, though i like them long as I tuck my boots in. Comfy, better than the regular carharrt pants for boys size 16 as these are a bit roomier in the hips.Love the adjustable waist. I live an active life in the woods with animals so need tough pants. Hard to fit sturdy my pants my size that fit that are blue jeans! I'm not a fan of blue jeans in any shade of blue. These are huge on my son, I give them full stars anywho because it's common knowledge that Carhartt brand runs for tall and skinny for the most part. To compare, the size 4t that I got for my son has the same length as 5t pants but same waist as children's place 4t. Either way the fabric is thick! Real thick. Hi! I bought size 16 and the length was perfect not too long but I also am cuffing them at the bottom. They do fit big around the waist but they come with those adjustable ties on each side so that easily fixed the problem! The perfect baggy cargo brown pants for fall outfits!! Read more

I bought this when i was in my y2k aesthetic obsetion and these are like the only stright - wide leg pants for kids so yea I have like a minor hourglass situation going on and let me just say these are for rectangle body shapes the waist was too big and the hip was so tight like let my butt breath but if they fit you the are kinda cute also i bought like a 10 or 12 a few months ago so i might of grew so these are my messures now my legs are too long for my body i think my inseam is like a 27 my hips are 30 and my waist is like 24 Read more

These pants are not your comfy toddler pants. My son doesn’t like to wear them because the materialIs too rough, they are too rigid and hard to wear. I like that you can tighten the waist band so they can grow into them; but don’t think we will get much use out of these sadly because he thinks they aren’t comfortable. Bought a size 5 for my 4 1/2 year old but they just fit. He is a little tall and 45 lbs, but not bulky at all. They were a little big but with the adjustable waist band they would fit perfect. I didn't want perfect. I wanted them to fit for a while so I ordered a 6. They were really long but I just tacked up the legs and used the adjustable waist. They stayed up great and they will fit for at least this season and next and will get my moneys worth. They are good Carhartt material and I see them lasting for a long time. Read more

These are not the same material as adult Carhartts. My boys have blown through the knees of these in 2 months. I am really disappointed. We have purchased older versions at kids resale shops that seem to to mad from a thicker fabric. Read more
