I have a feeling that the product I received is imitation. I have a partial bottle left and when I compared the two, they smell nothing alike. I have worn Obsession off and on for the last 15+ years and this is not the same scent. When I went to return it, Amazon will not accept a return on this order. My suggestion, take a few minutes to go to the drug store or to a mall and buy it. Not sure if it is just the seller or what, but I would not take a chance on this, quite an investment for something that smells like it came out of a bathroom dispensary machine. I am so disappointed in this fragrance. Back in the day, it's staying power was as well known as the scent itself. This formulation obviously meets the 2014 industry standards/restrictions that caused the reformulation of so many fragrances... and destroyed the Western European and American fragrance industry's reputation for quality. My beloved Uncle passed away last month, and he always wore Obsession. Unfortunately, due to Covid-19, my children were unable to be present at his funeral. My son was having a very rough time dealing with his grief, so I bought this for him. His eyes sparkled with tears when he opened the box and smelled the cologne. He visited me yesterday evening, and he had been wearing his Obsession. He told me that he had put it on at 6 am. He was visiting at 7 pm, and I was able to still smell the cologne on him! 4 years ago a friend gifted this to me. Due to the personal value and the cost, I used it sparingly. I liked the scent and especially the longevity. Approaching empty, I ordered a new bottle of the same size. Very disappointing. First, the longevity is very short compared to the older bottle. I estimate 4 hours to 15 or 20 hours of the older. I'm guessing that there is less scent oil as the color of the new liquid is much lighter then the old, and frankly similar to the color of the product in aftershave form and lasts about the same period. I've had this product a few weeks now and I think I would have been happier spritzing on rubbing alcohol instead. I could have bought about 60 bottles of rubbing alcohol for what I paid for this, and I imagine the scent would even last longer. It probably deserves 1-star, but I'm going to be gracious and give it 2-stars because there is at least an initial, appealing scent mixed with the stronger overtone of alcohol that can be enjoyed till it dries. Come al solito ho acquistato due confezioni di questo profumo che uso ormai da più di 15 anni, solamente che questa volta aprendo la prima confezione e vaporizzando il profumo mi accorgo che la fragranza non è quella che adopero di solito, avverto un forte odore alcoolico ed il profumo che caratterizza questo profumo e quasi totalmente assente.
