I wanted to love this skincare line so bad especially since it is black-owned but I must be honest with you...it is NOT for all skin types as advertised.I broke out so bad after using these products for 5 weeks. I kept going because I wanted to make sure my skin wasn't just purging.If you have oily skin, you really want to avoid products with a COMEDOGENIC ratings from 3-5. Zero representing no clogging capabilities to 5 representing yo this will clog your pores lol. So the numbers associated next to the ingredients correlate with that.I just discovered this on my own so you're welcome haha. I LOVE THIS!! I’ve been looking for a product that would clear up my dark spots and I found it in this. I’ve been using this faithfully since May 2020. I almost NEVER leave product reviews, but had to see this. I saw an ad for Buttah Skin on instagram and wanted to try it because the owners skin is freaking flawless. I'd been having some issues with breakouts lately that i just couldn't shake even with the help of some masks and my go-to products that used to always do the trick.I've only been using this stuff for like 4-5 days, but i noticed a difference by day 2. The face wash feels pretty standard -- doesn't over dry. Cleanses very well. The serum feels great on my skin and helps to lock in moisture and brighten instantly. Now look, the shea butter? Girl. The face wash and vitamin c serum works well, but if you have oily skin DO NOT USE THE FACIAL SHEA BUTTER. I bought this for my daughter after I read the reviews ( many said they have oily skin and that it worked for them) and it only made her face real oily. I thought the facial shea butter would be like a regular moisturizer. I now use the Shea butter to moisturize our body's since I usually use Shea butter for our body any way. Hey guys, so like many of you I was lead here by word of mouth. I did some research, checked out the reviews, and finally just ordered it without thinking twice about it. The price is going to deter a few people, but its worth the investment. I'm only on Day 3 and my skin looks noticeably different. My complexion is more even, my face is smooth, and the skin around my eyes are starting to lighten up. Not to mention, yes my skin is glowing like others have mentioned. I've been using this product for a few days and I love it. I wear makeup and have oily skin so after I use the cleanser my face feels very clean and refreshed. After I wash my face I put on the vitamin C serum. The vitamin C serum makes my skin feel so smooth and hydrated. The real shea butter that comes with the set I did put that on after the vitamin C serum and my face was moisturized. My skin overall is smooth and clear because I did have a few pimples prior to using the product and my face was clear in about 3 days. I order this product once before with no issues, my second order was missing the Vitamin C Serum...the most expensive product in the kit...Oops...I immediately called customer service the moment I open the kit. A nice representative, name Ruby was very helpful in making sure that I received a refund back to my account, and would be able to use within 1 to 3 hours. I was able to reorder the kit, and received the complete kit package in two days. This hold process took only four days total.
