I was so careful about everything my baby wore and played with. I never thought about checking to see what baby oil is made of. I went to use normal big brand baby oil and read the ingredients just out of curiosity. I really had no idea that most generic baby oil is a petroleum product. It is a light and moisturizing oil for baby. Use it after bath to give moisture boost for my baby skin. This product use grapeseed oil as one of the main ingredients which is great, because it doesn't clog pores. The color of oil is slightly yellow. Packaging is nice, no spill or leak at all after 6 months use.The drawbacks, this oil doesn't mention any organic words. None on the packaging and website description. A non-organic oil on this price in such a small packaging is pricey.Another things is, it is not fragrance free. This product is labelled as 100% natural, but it use 'fragrance' word on the ingredients makes it not clear what chemical/material is used on it. I've been using regular storebought stuff and it's getting really unnatural and this isn't in the store, maybe because the fragrance is a bit medicinal, but not bad. I got a glass bottle, like a fifth or so and put a soap pump into it from a plastic bottle, this should come like this, the bottles become a terrible nuisance to deal with. I hear there is a Mama version of this without fragrance, that sounds perfect. I need the fragrance from the storebought oil, Shea Moisture Raw Shea and Argon Oil w Frankincense & Myrrh, the scent is perfect but again, nonorganic causes itchy skin every time. This one here is perfect, though even without a fragrance, totally different oil and everything. Glass pump I have is 3" sides to the square on the bottom and only like 6 inches tall up to 2 inch sides on the top in a pyramid shape, the latest terrible baby oil i got from cvs is like 60 percent more size, but really i think i will throw that out, causes such terrible itchiness. We call it "Magic" and I shake 3-5 drops into my hand with lotion and apply after our baths. My daughters skin is moisturized and soft. I can tell a major difference when I do not use this product, we ran out & I debated not buying more but we couldnt live without it! I also like that it is not petroleum based like other baby oils. When my daughter was born, i was looking into baby oils. Like most people jonshon baby oil was the first bottle I bought. But I was not happy with it, specially knowing its just mineral oil with scent. I wanted to get something better that will nourish her skin and something for natural.. Then I came across this oil 2 years back. I used it and since then I havent used anything else on my baby. It smells like really sweet mild honey and makes your baby smell so sweet. I love this product for my baby, it is very expensive in my country....this is a great buy for me...it is very moisturizing but it is not greasy on the skin, his skin looks very healthy...i even use it on my face at night...and I noticed that it has truly improved the texture of my skin.I have been using most of burts baby bee products since his birth and he hasn't had any bad skin reactions using this product and other of the same brand. I use this oil to give my baby belly rubs to soothe him and he gets excited as soon as he smells it!
