I generally throw my hair in a puff during the week and was looking for something that would support my puff but not pull on my hair. Until I purchased this band, I would take goodie headbands, break them at the seam, and then draw string them to make my puff. This method unfortunately pulls on my edges. This band, however, does not pull and still gives me the support of the goodie headbands.I have washed it every wash day along with my scarves, and it has help up in the washer. The little knots are easy to pull through the adjuster but firm enough that it has not separated.Only con is the price. I this anything over 10 dollars for a hair accessory is a bit much, but here we are doing it for the curls. Read more

Updated review( February 18th, 2020)I do NOT recommend buying this product, I literally just tried to use it AGAIN AND my hair got stuck in the bead AGAIN, and it got tangled in it AGAIN! And this is just from me putting it on my head and pushing it upward before I could even adjust it to make it tighter. I just had to pull my hair out from the bead! I'm so irritated I wasted my money on this product! I just bumped it down from two stars to one star. My hair is massively thick, as you can see in the picture. I have been through various rubber bands to make my puff. Most of the time I just break them. I was able to keep this in my hair and it was not pulled out. I highly recommend especially for 4C hair. Read more

I love the way the band grips your hair, stays in place, & is easy to adjust. The only thing I don’t like is that my hair keeps getting pulled through the bead & gets stuck in there so tightly that sometimes I can’t get it out without cutting it. I have found that to avoid this from happening I have to stretch the band while it’s on my head & hold the beaded section away from my hair while tightening it. Read more

This product pulls your hair while your tightening it it also rolls while pulling strings so it’s tangling your hair up around the band..... not a great purchase for myself or my daughter can’t use it without pulling hair so it was a waste of money for me Read more

Bought this headband to help with a HAIR EMERGENCY. Finally talked my daughter into a trim, and she could no longer get her hair into her signature AfroPuff (using a regular ponytail holder). Did some googling and found BunzeeBands Headband. Looked promising...and it delivers! It makes a perfect AfroPuff (similar to the girl in the video). It is super soft, very stretchy, seems like high quality materials. It's adjustable, so you can use like a standard headband, or tighten up like we have for more of a poof on top. I’m currently wearing Senegalese twists and needed something to keep my hair off my face and neck for the gym, travel, etc. This product worked great! I was able to get my twists into a high bun with ease. Traditional ponytail holders were either too tight or too loose—I love that I can adjust the Bunzee Band to whatever tension is best for me. I imagine this product would also work well for box braids, kinky twists, etc. I haven’t tried these with my natural hair yet, but I’m looking forward to it! Read more

Item looks exactly like the picture. I really like how this handband can be adjusted. I used it and found that it doesn't squeeze my head so tight to the point of giving me a headache like other headbands, it worked fine.
