Do I get the bottom model, the cheapest one, or do I get a folding stool that can even withstand adult weight?Folding stands are an absolute no because little fingers can get caught and pinched! So scratch that one off your list.The bottom tier stool doesnt have enough of the rubbery grip like this one does, and the last thing you want is a fall!This one is very secure, have never had a fall, always stays upright, and looks great. Bought this stool a couple of months ago for my 2 yr old to wash hands and brush teeth. I really wanted a stool that would fold away but couldn't find one sturdy enough or high enough that did so. This stool is severe lightweight but sturdy, no issues with it toppling over beneath my son, which we did have with others. There is lots of that gray grippy material on the top and bottom, and it's not in small patches stuck on with adhesive that will wear out and come off, which we also had with others. Base is wider than top for stability. Top area is completely covered with non-slip covering which is great. Holes on either side big enough for 2 adult fingers serve as a place to grip and lift it, and my toddler uses them for the same purpose. Light enough for him to carry around himself without me worrying he'll get hurt if he drops it on his toe. Not the best looking stool but certainly better than most I've seen that aren't wooden beautiful children's steps tools. Keep in mind the weight limit, not for adults. I got this for my 19 month old and LOVE IT! Bumbo makes great products, and this step stool doesn’t disappoint. My only issue with it is probably a moot point: It’s not a very high step, so unfortunately my son (40th percentile in height, about 32”) still can’t reach most things, like light switches or sinks. He *is* still really young (and short LOL), so with time, he’ll grow into it perfectly. My favorite part about it is the bumpy rubberized section on top. We also have a wooden step stool, but even when he wears grippy socks he slides right off of it. The Bumbo is slip-proof and durable, and I feel better knowing he’s less likely to take a nasty fall using it. The white and blue looks nice and clean (not too bright or eye-catching). We’ve had a few spills on it already, but it’s so easy to either wipe off or just stick it under the faucet. You could probably even throw it in the dishwasher. It’s light enough that he can even move it around himself.... which is a blessing AND a curse! 😂 “hmmm where’d he move it today....?”We love it so much, I’m ordering two more! It’s definitely worth the price. Can’t wait for him to be able to use it when we start potty training.Oh- one other thing. It would be AWESOME if they made a version with taller side handles, for young toddlers like my son. He tends to be more cautious taking big steps up, and always reaches for something to hold onto. So happy with this stool! Potty training has begun for our 2 year old. We have a babybjorn stool that we have had since our first born who is almost 8, the stool is still in good condition but we have bathrooms upstairs and down so we needed more than one stool. I love the quality of babybjorn but needing more than one I didn't want to spend another $20 per stool. This one was a great price at $10 and the quality matches that of the babybjorn. It's cute and nice height, non skid and the top has great and comfortable grip to it. The sides do have two holes to pick the stool up by. I almost didn't get it because I didn't see how you lift it up in the photo. I read someone's review stating there are two holes and that made me purchase it. I have been searching for a good stool for my daughter to use for potty training, but I wanted something that wasn't an eyesore and could also be used as a step stool by me (120lbs.) This one is great! The cool grey color is much less jarring than the black or red versions, which I have seen in big box retail stores. The rubberized feet really keep it from slipping, and the top surface area has a nice sticky rubber feel and is larger than most of the kids' step stools on the market. First, I was so happy about the product, it was a little short for my son, but it looked nice and I really liked the anti sleep parts, I should admit I received it in very good condition. It can be easily cleaned, but now I understand 110lbs is not good for a stool. It may be OK if you have only one child, but I have another bigger child too, As you see in the photo I sent, it cracked after about 3 months. Maybe my older son used it and put his feet on the corner, or even jump on it or maybe an adult used it by mistake, by the way I have found it is not a good idea to put a stool in the bath or toilet which doesn't support at least 200 lbs.I recommend it if you are satisfied with the height and you are sure no one except child will use it, but I think it is not practical to stick a big label on every side of it and mentioned its supported weight! Why just don't you buy another one with more supported weight so others can use it too? Read more

This definitely doesn't slide across the floor, the rubber feet prevent it from doing that. However that also means it can be kind of annoying to try to push it away from the door or other obstacles (like if you're trying to shut the door to a small bathroom and it's in the way) and it makes this god-awful noise skidding across the floor. Honestly these are just nit-picky things. Otherwise my toddler can pick it up and place it where they need it, such as washing their hands or stepping up to the potty. The colors are nice. My toddler also likes to sit on it as a seat. The top also has rubber grips, so it is a safe option for children. I would recommend. Read more
