I feel as if I should tell first time buyers about this companies business policy. This company sends an email to those that purchase their product and offer a free product for review immediately upon receiving the product. In my honest opinion this is a way to artificially inflate their positive reviews, since they require a next to immediate response. I feel this is why their reviews are better than the other arginine on amazon. When I found this out myself, I felt mislead, thus I am compelled to let others know. On to the actual product. This is arginine powder. It is what it is. It works fine. It tastes terrible, all arginine does. I've noticed a lot of people complaining about the taste. Know it tastes bad, any arginine powder will. I use the product for a cleaner pre-workout since it's what many companies use as the active ingredient for their pre-workout supplements. I definitely feel a good pump using about 2grams in juice before a workout. It's good arginine, but a small bag for the price in comparison to some others on Amazon. Read more

In the past always took arginine in capsule form but in the powder form have been able to mix it in my morning energy cocktail and could feel the immediate difference - really does assist in the blood flow - great for us older guys looking for that little "extra. While this particular review is aboun L-Arginine Base Powder, I have found from use that Bulksupplements products consistently give me the most in performance and price as witnessed by all of their products I use religiously and at 75 I can attest to their benefits. I find all supplements from Bulksupplements to be very pure looking and effective without added cost of paying for them to be put in capsules. I like to combine the ones I want to take into a glass with warm water to help keep my BP in the safe range without the use of prescription drugs which I read are damaging and ineffective in about 26 percent of cases. .I cannot even work with the Prescription drugs. I'm too tired to move when taking them.I find that 1 tblsp Beetroot, 1 teaspoon Citruline Maleate 2:1, 1/4 teaspoon L-Arginine, 1/8 teaspoon Taurine , 1/4 teaspoon Acetyl L Carnitine with a tablespoon of Apple cider vinegar and a few drops of stevia sweetener in a glass of warm water seems to keep me or get me into the safe BP range.in a short time. This is just a result I have had and I cannot recommend it for others. Everyone is different. I find that keeping good NO levels is beneficial for me. Read more

To start, this seems a quality product and a great value. Combined with BulkSupplements L-Citrulline, I believe I experience the same effects as with much more expensive, premixed, flavored supplements. The problem lies in the flavor. I know, I know.. not everything tastes good and much that is good for us is fairly unpleasant, but this is exceptionally nasty to me. Something like a handful of effervescent cold tablets dissolved in canned tuna water. I tried masking it with many things. Fruit juices, drink mixes, strongly flavored supplements, sugars and artificial sweeteners, salts... etc. Nothing worked. The aftertaste was always there. I finally did a little research and found that the inability to mask this was due to chemistry. L-Arginine Base is just that, base. Meaning, it's alkaline and its high PH needs to be neutralized if there's any hope to cover the taste. We need acid to lower the PH. Some have used vinegar, some lemon juice, but I found what works best for me: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EYFKNL8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . Citric Acid works amazingly well in a ratio of 4:1 Arginine to Acid, but I found you have to follow a process for maximum effectiveness. Start by dissolving four parts arginine in about half a cup of water. Dissolve it completely, which can take a while in cold water. (If you're doing keto, use your milk frother to speed things up) Next, add one part citric acid and dissolve completely. You should be left with water that tastes almost like nothing was ever added. You can, and I often do, add i tiny bit more citric acid for a slight sourness if you you'd like. Now add the water to whatever you'd like. I typically just add a bit more water and drink it down but might throw it in some tea or coffee or energy drink and it's undetectable. Read more

This is what I ordered. I can’t fault Bulk Supplements. But this stuff is disgusting. Like mentioned before it smells like a bag of powdered sweaty gym socks. I switched to L-Citrulline in my stack with GABA (both also from Bulk Supplements). The Citrulline actually tastes really good, just sour really. Try it in a Bai Kula Watermelon, that’s how I like it. Anyway, after doing a lot of research I am finding out L-Citrulline actually produces more Arginine than L-Arginine itself. And I have noticed. I feel even more oomph now with my new stack than with L-Arginine, and sleep even better. Read more

Product was neatly packaged and not clumped up when I opened it for transfer into a canning jar. When mixed with water it tastes like alka seltzer without the fizz. I bought the product to go with L-Cartinine of the same quantity with the intention of improving my vascular health since I am 74 rears old. The product was priced very well compared other supplier’s pricing and allows me to get the 3000mg to 5000mg needed per serving for effective results. Read more
