Don’t buy this monitor it’s rubbish the picture quality is terrible and it took us 3 different purchases to get one that linked up and gave us any picture but now it’s so grainy I can’t see my daughter I just have to use it for the sound which completely defeats the object and I could have got a much cheaper one!! Brilliant bit of kit, took ages to decide which monitor to buy. Finally decided on the 3000 and it’s absolutely perfect for anyone’s needs, other models offer a bigger screen but honestly you don’t need it you’ll gain nothing out of having a biggest screen what so ever. Battery life is good if you turn the brightness down slightly and you can hear a pin drop through the speaker. Night vision works perfectly and the range is great, we have an outside bar which is in the back garden it’s right next to the house but still a separate building and the is no connection issuers what’s so ever. Set up is and absolute doddle also, I’ve said it already but don’t waste money on a bigger screen there is absolutely no needs. In all a really good product, but it’s you won’t be disappointed Read more
Bought this monitor after reading and researching a number of different types/brands. Started off doing the job, however we had constant issues and warnings about the signal on the parent monitor. It couldn’t be beside or near any mobile phone as this appeared to interfere with it. Often regardless we would get the red no signal icon and beeping to say it had no signal. We do not have a giant house so distance was definitely not an issue. Then if the battery went low enough to warn us, and we had to plug it in to charge, that action would cause the sound to stop working. Cue us getting woken up by a very very upset baby 2 doors away because the monitor hadn’t triggered the initial cry. Finally it stopped working all together. Looking at the bt help forum our issues seem to be common. We were faced with a green light (for power) and a monitor that refused to switch on - even after leaving to charge for over an hour incase it was a battery issue. All this resulted in was a very hot parent unit.Awful experience. Caused many nights of restless sleep as I just lost all trust in the device. Read more
Update - February 2020 - it lasted a few years before becoming well...a bit rubbishy. Now the monitor doesn't stay on permanently ,only on the sleep mode. So the screen only comes on if it picks up a noise and there's a delay on that too. I thought it might be a good BT product but it's just like the rest of the baby monitors out there that give up the ghost after a while.Update - November 2019 - looks like a star goes off, not on! Like other users have said, the charger stops working after a while so I had to use a replacement cable from another device. If however I wanted to use the original it does have to be weighed down or positioned so it keeps in place.Gone through three baby monitors and finally found a good one.Picks up bambino during the day and night, nice sound bar on the side and holds a long charge. Only downside is there isn't a time on the screen, I found that useful on others. Unless there is an option to add the time? If so, I'll ramp this up to 5 stars! Read more
We bought this monitor as we have a similar model for our eldest, which has done okay for the past couple of years (even if the reaction time turning on the monitor when they cry out lags a bit). Couldn’t tell the difference between the more expensive monitor and this one at the time of purchase, so went for the cheaper of the two. Big mistake. It’s utter rubbish. The picture quality is terrible at night or low light - let’s face it a baby isn’t going to sleep in full light so you’re never going to be able to see anything clearly. The picture quality is pixilated and it often loses connection. The camera can’t be moved from the handset, so If baby moves me you move the cot slightly you need to manually adjust it. The monitors interfere with each other so you can’t have your two children’s screens side by side. Despite having the option to presumably add another monitor to the same handset - it doesn’t work. We spent £80+ on this one and will now have to buy another one as this is only good for the bin. So disappointed. Read more
