Was taking a few things (also Boswellia extract from Now* brand supplements and "Heal-N-Soothe" from livingwell* brand supplements.) in hopes that my psoriatic arthritis would improve. Psoriatic arthritis flares up and goes away for me. Wasn't able to be certain if/how much help this was. I want these ingredients, but the price point is just to high. I'm looking for a better value. I have never had a Supplement that has worked this fast,And did what it said it would do.I didn’t have surgery , I broke my 3rd toe yesterday pretty bad.Put ice on it right away, but It turned Purple, black & blue , swelled up,And I could hardly walk. This was not the first time I have broken this toe,And other ones. This bela vi brand bromelain anti-bruising supplement is good for me. I had been taking Bromelain and an anti-inflammatory and to reduce joint/muscle pain. This combines Bromelain with Quercetin and the combo does all the Bromelain had been plus I don’t appear to bruise so easily as is common as we get older.I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia decades ago. Being more active can help reduce its effects. BUT the pain of fibromyalgia can make it hard to get the needed physical activity. A classic catch 22 and my doctor gets that. He suggested I try Bromelain as its anti-inflammatory effects could help me tolerate the exercise that will help me and also help to get better sleep. So far Bromelain alone is not a miracle, but seems to help.The addition of Quercetin seems to extend the effect of the Bromelain a bit – making it more comfortable to get out and exercise. Most noticeable is how I bruise less easily. As I’ve gotten older I notice I bruise much more easily. A little “nothing” bump on the arm or leg would result in a dark bruise. Since I’ve been taking this supplement which adds Quercetin I’ve only noticed one bruise that was light and went away completely in 2 days. Hardly definitive after a week but a hopeful indication I think.Bromelain and Quercetin have helped me and getting them both in one capsule is a plus. I’ve not noticed much change versus Bromelain alone except in bruising. This supplement is helping me do the activities needed to fight against my fibromyalgia. *** UPDATE***I promised I would update my review after taking these for a few weeks. Well, I'm here to say that there is a MARKED improvement in the severity and duration of my skin bruising. And, I have achieved it by taking only HALF THE RECOMMENDED DOSE.I just ordered a second bottle and will up my intake to 4 capsules daily. I'll be back to tell you if it makes even more of a difference. I do realize that supplements may work well for some people and not others. But I am here to tell you they work for me and are worth a try. I have been so embarrassed at times to wear short sleeved shirts in public, and it's a LOT better now. Well, I've reached that point as well, and the slightest bump or scuff often leaves me with torn skin and/or large areas of red bruising, primarily on my lower arms and hands and my face.When I saw the BROMELUX Anti-Bruising Supplement, I knew I had to give it a try.First of all, I haven't been taking the full dose of 2 in the am and 2 in the pm. I have been taking 1 each morning and night. So for me to downgrade the rating would not be fair. The only reason I'm deducting 1 star is that they are large capsules and some may find them difficult to swallow.I have, however, seen some improvement. While my skin still tears easily (these aren't designed to help that) I have noticed that the bruising I do get seems smaller, lighter in color, and heals more quickly. I will continue to take these and will probably buy another bottle.One bottle of 120 capsules, taken 4 total per day, will last roughly a month.
