I just purchased this toothbrush for my almost 3 yr old son, He was having some aversions to brushing his teeth and it became a chore every single day. I wanted to find something fun to keep his focus. That's when I found this toothbrush. Not only is it fun, but it plays baby shark. My son LOVES baby shark..... He started brushing his teeth like a champ and genuinely loves when it is time to brush his teeth twice a day.I originally gave this toothbrush five stars, but I have to change my review and lower the star rating solely due to how quickly the brush heads fray and get ruined. We have used an electric toothbrush on my son since he was 6 months old and never had to replace the brush heads this fast. I have already had to replace it with the second brush head and that head is frayed already. I haven't had this toothbrush for a month yet. ANd Now after researching, I can't buy replacement heads until summer or 2020?? That is ridiculous. How can a toothbrush be out on the market, but not the replacement heads?? Sadly disappointed and will not recommend this tooth brush to friends and family. From the moment I saw the commercial on TV I was enamored with the idea of the gamification of brushing my teeth. I realize that the product is geared towards kids but after reading that brushing your teeth for 2 minutes is the minimum level you should brush each time I found myself having to run the stop watch on my phone in order to know when to change sides. It seemed like an eternity.Then I found BriteBrush and not only am I no longer bored or waiting for the timer to end, I'm actually brushing correctly for the first time in my live and that's because I learned, through the instructions (very well done, btw!) that I am supposed to brush up and down not left to right. Who knew?!Seriously, with BrightBrush I am now brushing my teeth 3 times a day instead of two. I'm brushing correctly and I'm having a blast doing it. The only improvements I would suggest would be to come out with adult sized brush heads and maybe some classic arcade games?! Pac Man, Asteroids anyone? This toothbrush will teach your kids to only brush the front of their teeth. It only registers up and down movements, so in order for your kids to score points with the games, they will sit there and just move it up and down on the front teeth. It will not register any other movements. If the movements are not vigorous enough, they will not be registered, and the brush turns off after only a couple seconds of “inactivity”. So you have to constantly stop your kids from brushing just to turn it back on. So now, what should take a couple minutes ends up taking longer. I do not recommend these at all. Read more

I have a two and a half year old son that would throw tantrums every time we tried to brush his teeth. The only way we could even get him to open his mouth was by distracting him with songs, making him laugh, etc, but it was still a struggle.We’ve had the baby shark BriteBrush for two days, and now he is having so much fun with it he doesn’t want to STOP brushing his teeth. Cute toothbrush. My son likes it so far. I have been in the dental industry for over 20 years and I have a hard time getting my 8 year old to brush his teeth. I don’t think this would be okay for any younger than 7 or 8 because the toothbrush does not tell you where to go it just says switch sides which is confusing and my son still missed some spots. It still takes some parent supervision but we can expect electronics to raise our kids so that is fine with me. It does make him want to brush his teeth more which is the best part. It is NOT an electric toothbrush. The head of the brush does not move. Read more

This brush i worth nothing, is soo stiff for kid to activate brushing movement. My 6y/o son getting so mad when hi trying brush hard (up & down) and didn't get any answer from brush finally he hurt his gum and throw this brush away! Don't buy it for kids younger than 10y/o . Another problem is replacement heads, you CANNOT buy it anywhere! Looks like it is one time deal. You have 2 heads in set but no way you get any more.Worst spended $20 ever. Read more

Bought BriteBrush for my 7 and 10 year old and they love it! They actually have fun while brushing their teeth and love playing all the games. And, they get super excited when they get 10 stars. I think that the parent check light is great, so I don't constantly wonder if they are brushing properly. I also like the fact that there is a volume control, as most brushes with sound don't have that. Read more

We all love this brush! The games are fun and engaging. It helps my children (6 and 8) actually brush properly (for the right amount) and most importantly my kids LOVE IT!
