Do not buy this stroller or any of their strollers. The connecting adaptor pieces are extremely poorly made and do not stay on the stroller when you fold it up. Which results in airlines or any transportation losing the adaptor pieces. Then, when you call Britax for a replacement part, they are very rude to you and they tell you they have no more adaptors. And they have no idea when they will have more. Which makes my entire stroller and carseat completely unusable together. Save your money and put it elsewhere with a company that cares about their customers and customer service. Also, I spent 2 hours on the phone with Britax and by the end of it asked to speak with a manager, was promised that a manger would call me back. Then received an email saying there was nothing they could do for me. I repeat - SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE. Read more
We just love this stroller! We had two Uppa Baby strollers, which I bought because they’re the best... right? They were heavy and came in several pieces with a host of adapters that had to be remembered in order to assemble the stroller each and every time we used it! I loathed the complexity and hated that the double stroller and all its parts took up my entire Ford Expedition trunk. We found that we didn’t even use the stroller and that is frustrating because it is so expensive!Enter the Britax B-lively double- it’s the perfect marriage of several key points- it’s light weight, ONE piece, easy to fold and takes up very little space in my trunk. I thought i wouldn’t like a wider stroller but I love how not kids can grow and stretch their legs! I also have yet to find a space I wasn’t able to stroll through AND i like how both kids are equally close to me! It sounds silly but in the uppa Baby I felt like my toddler was in a different zip code and there were several times I was oblivious to what she was doing because I couldn’t see her! The basket on this stroller is enormous and allows me to shop for my family of 8 without getting a cart. My only gripe- and it’s small is that my uppa Baby car seat can’t fit in this stroller as it only has an adapter for a Britax seat, BUT I have big babies and I know they won’t be in the car seat carrier for long and it’s no big deal to simply transport the baby. I should also add that on occasion I’ve put my infant in a carrier and my 8 year old gift pound son has hopped in for a ride with NO problem. This stroller was clearly designed by a real mom with real life challenges, it looks sleek, turns on a dime, and doesn’t require my husband and I to rendezvous at the trunk and struggle to assemble the many pieces and adaptors. You won’t regret the purchase! Read more
I'm pretty upset about the double stroller not having an adaptor for the britax car seat included. The use of the stroller with the carseat was the only reason we bought this instead of another double stroller. I know I'm mostly to blame for not reading the product description (maybe pregnancy brain?) but you know how it is, there is so much in the middle of the page I focus on price and then go to Q&A and reviews. From the Q&A it does not specify if the question and response is for the single stroller or double stroller and there are several responses from the manufacturer that make it sound like it comes with the adaptor for the car seat so we purchased it thinking that makes the most sense otherwise this double stroller really is not any better than any of the other strollers out there.1. Why would I want the stroller without a carseat adaptor? If my kids are big enough to not need that I would get a different stroller as this to me this stroller is too reclined for older kids.2. Is this not a car seat manufacturer? Shouldn't the focus be on their carseats and products that work well with their carseats?3. It makes no sense to me why the adaptor is $90 or why the agile single stroller adaptor doesn't work for the double.I purchased it, opened it and then promptly returned it once I realized my mistake. Do not make the same mistake. Read more
Overall not worth the money. Love our britax infant car seat and got this stroller to use together but it is hard to maneuver and also hard to use without the car seat now that he’s outgrown it. He is not comfortable and won’t stay sitting in it. Also no cup holders or tray and basket is very tiny Read more
Downfalls:Taking sharp turns took some getting used to.Limited choices for child tray and car seat adapter- which side you use for your infant seat is limited bc the additional piece only allows you to put an infant seat on the right and child tray on the left. However, I didn’t have a preference for this either way, so it works great for us!Moving the sits into the lay back position and then back up feels a little clunky, but easy enough. What we love:We travel A LOT with a Toyota Camry and two kids. This stroller easily folds and fits in our trunk with plenty of room. It’s easy for me to fold by myself with an infant and toddler in tow.I’ve never found a door the stroller doesn’t fit through despite my husband saying “the stroller isn’t going to fit through there” - I always reply that a company isn’t going to make a double stroller that doesn’t fit because moms would complain and no one would buy it!So much space and every bit of it has great use within the stroller itself! The easy access from the zippers in front and open access in the back makes stowing and getting items so convenient! Read more
Not too easy to fold. Its light weight and the best part great size. I have a 5 year old and she is so comfortable with it.Make sure you watch out for your little one fingers.. my baby got her fingers smashed when moving the cap to the back Read more
My fav review before buying this was the guy who got shouted at with a "wide load coming through!" comment. So dang true and I hear it in my head whenever I'm going through any type of crowd. We did a ton of research and settled on this one since we already have the Britax single and the car seat. Look, if you're tossing two kids on a single stroller your doomed in one way or another. I'll save you the hours of research I spent on this. You got 3 options:1. Back and in front - your stroller is long. It helps for narrow spaces and you won't be bumping into crowds as much but is harder to turn and harder to raise the front of it to get over a curb.2. Bunkbed - all the strollers that let you put one up and one down, kind of similar to #1 but a lot shorter as the kids are partially stacked. These are the most compact and great for mobility, but visibility of your kids isn't the best, it will be harder to load and unload them, and you don't get as much storage space usually.3. These side by sides - None of the problems of the first two and great in ever way except one - WIDE LOAD COMING THROUGH! If it calms you down though, it's about the same width of a wheelchair which depending where you live should have public regulations ensuring spaces are wide enough to fit.The one big pain I experienced with this is after buying the stroller and already having the car seat, once the newborn came and we went to load we realized you need specific car seat adapters designed for this stroller only. It wasn't cheap at $110+ USD which was about a third of strollers price on sale when we bought it. On top of that, we literally could not find them for sale anywhere so had to call Britax directly and get a special order. This doesn't apply if you don't have a newborn and don't use a car seat, but if you do make sure you get the adapters and factor it into the cost. I'm sure it will be less painful now that the model has been out for a bit.The 3 star rating is a bit harsh as I love the design but I took a star off for the adapter debacle and another star off as the build quality isn't as good as it could be. Standard plasticy mass produced feeling but it works and overall this is a great option for 2 kids! Read more
Read more
Very nice stroller in term of colour, wheel and weight. Although it is not that light when trying to carry but it is super light when driving. Simply, it meet my expectations and work well for my twins.the underneath basket is useful too especially when you have too many stuff. Read more
