I got this for my daughter-in-law, and the following is her review:This face brush has a lot of great features. It is waterproof, pretty, has a nice charger, and holds a charge for a long time. It has six intensity settings, a cap with drainage holes to dry your brush on, and three different brushes. I use it to wash my face before bed, and it does a great job of removing foundation, and my face feels very clean afterward. Even in the lowest setting, my face feels a little raw and irritated after using the bristle brush. The first time I used this, I did it on the highest setting for a deep clean, and my face was quite sore afterward. So I’ve switched to using the silicone brush. One neat feature is that this brush has a built-in timer, so you scrub for 20 seconds on the forehead and 20 seconds on each side of the face. It buzzes when it is time to switch and turns off when finished; just one minute to thoroughly wash your face! One complaint I have about this brush is that both the makeup sponge and the silicone brush use the same attachment, and it takes a little bit of time to switch them out. It is just a small piece of plastic, and having two of them would make changes easier and save time. Also, there is only one makeup applicator, and it suggests replacing it once a month, along with the brush heads every three months, which will cost me about $4 per month at the current price. This little facial cleansing system is not supposed to rotate, it cleanses the face using ultrasonic vibration technology. I have read that using rotating brushes for facial cleansing actually stretches and pulls on the skin to the point that it can lead to premature wrinkling. This ultrasonic vibration is designed to reach deep into the pores and cleansing them without pulling on the skin. There is a soft silicone brush for dry or sensitive skin, a deep cleanse bristle brush for regular or oily skin, and a makeup applicator sponge. Since I don't use makeup, I tested the soft and the deep cleansing brushes. I found that they are indeed gentle on the skin. The facial scrubber is waterproof, so taking it in the shower is my preferred way to clean my face with it. It's super easy to use, and the size fits my hand well. There are six settings: 1-2 for gentle cleansing, 3-4 for massaging, and 5-6 for deep cleansing and exfoliation. At higher speeds the vibrations tickle when they get near my nose, but that's a minor thing. I have several different facial cleansers, liquid, cream, and foam, and this seems to work well with all of them. The brushes are easy to clean, and the small size makes this cleansing system very easy to take with me when I travel. I will know with continued use whether this works better for me than simple hand cleansing or rotational brush cleansing,but for now, I'm satisfied with its performance, and I definitely like the compact size. This is my first time using a vibrating facial brush so I don't have anything else to compare it to. I never expected that I would enjoy something like this because it just seems like an extra, unnecessary step to my facial skincare routine. Boy was I wrong!I currently use an exfoliating face scrub a few times per week to get a deep clean but this Brightline Facial Cleansing Brush is a nice addition!You get 3 different brush heads with the brush - a deep cleaning brush (my favorite), a soft silicone brush (for sensitive skin), and a makeup application brush (which I don't really need or use).Since the brush doesn't rotate, you don't have to worry about it pulling or tugging your skin. It does have 6 different settings of vibration, though. 1-2 for a gentler cleansing, 3-4 for massaging and 5-6 for a deeper, more exfoliating cleansing. I find that 5 is the perfect level for me! The lower settings just don't do enough IMO.I use this with my regular foaming face wash and it lathers up nicely. It is completely waterproof so I keep mine on my shower caddy and use it when I shower and wash my face in the evenings. I love the spa like, massaging effect it provides.The brush doesn't use any batteries and has a USB charging base. The design is very compact, simple, and cute! Read more

Brightline Sonic Rechargeable Electric Facial Cleansing Brush System,OK, I was expecting a rotating brush head, not just a vibrating brush. I admit I didn't fully read the description but there it is in small print "brush doesn't rotate". This is just a vibrating brush that requires you to move it around your face. I didn't find that this works well. It takes more effort to put this together and then clean each part much more so than a contained silicone sonic scrubber like a Foreo or PMD. Either of those can be used in a shower - this one is not water safe.It does have 3 different brush heads: a soft brush, silicone scrubby, and foam pad for applying makeup. The foam pad/sponge didn't do that great at applying foundation except to finish it off. You can buy replacement heads for a decent price. I do like the soft brush but didn't find that the vibration did any better at removing makeup than a microfiber towel.I love the recharging system. It comes with a little cup holder that you place the device into and it recharges the minute you place it in the holder. It does look super cute on my counter. This set is reasonably priced for what it is and I think this would make a teen a great gift to get them in the habit of washing their face properly. Read more
