I purchased this because I spend a lot of time in my car and wanted something to protect the front passenger seat. With eating on the road and constantly putting bags on that seat, I wanted something to protect it. A pleasant surprise was I spilled some soda on my passenger seat and it literally rolled off; did not realize it was water resistant. The only thing I would say if I had to say anything negative about this product is although it has the little grip strips on the top to keep things from sliding which of course you would want that if you're using it under a child's safety seat. However the bottom tends to slide around a lot on the car seat and I have cloth seats so was surprised at this, so I folded a towel in half and put in underneath the cover and works like a charm, no more sliding. I have leather seats and my daughter's booster seat had too much wiggle room. The seat guardian gives the booster seat better grip so it stays in place when she's getting in and out. I feel better about her moving up to the booster seat with the seat guardian, since it seems to keep the booster seat secure. Also, I like that it protects the leather seats from indentation, scuffs and general messiness. I like the protector, but I hate the color. I thought it was going to be grey/black. It’s brown and doesn’t match my black interior at all. Luckily it’s in the third row where I don’t have to see it otherwise I’d take it back. This seat cover was a great design… no unnecessary pockets or flaps. It stayed out on the seat very well. I ended up returning it for another seat cover because the material just wasn’t thick/dense enough to prevent indentations in the leather seats. Highly recommend if you been using booster seat as it is my case. I was getting tired of some old one's I had that were very large ( originally for car seats) and too thin. This product is thick and the back really catch all those crumbs. Didn't realize how much gets lost behind those boosters until this was catching it all. Stays in place, easy to grab up and knock out the snacks it's collected. This protector folds up and is attached with velcro. I want velcro nowhere near fabric seats. Horrible idea. Plus, the box says its for 4-8. We had gotten them for our bigger kids' boosters which are a lower profile (at this rate they'll be in boosters until they're driving, thanks to the new height requirements) and these are MASSIVE and seem to be designed for bulkier boosters only.
