Beware! These are indeed good quality, thick and I have no doubt they are warm but they are made of 20% angora wool! Angora is wool or rather fur from angora rabbits. The fur is plucked from bunnies while they are alive and suffering tremendously. If I had known I would never purchased those socks. I purchased these for my 1.5 year old and they're absolutely perfect winter socks. Whilst they're a bit big (the heel section sits on the back of her ankle) they're the exact length I needed them to be to tuck her pants into and keep her feet warm inside her rain boots. They almost but not quite reach her knees. I imagine they'll last us a few winters as her feet grow.They're so incredibly soft I want to buy some for myself! Lovely basic and earthy colours. My son is a really tall almost-5-year-old and we got these to go inside his neoprene rain boots on days he goes to farm camp, which is always freezing and usually wet. Love these soft socks for fall and winter. The 2/3 (I believe) fit my kid who is a size 7 toddler shoe, and he should be able to grow and wear these for at least another shoe size. Nice colors, soft, good quality. We are considering replacing all our target and old navy socks with these. Read more

Nice elastic sleek socks with beautiful colour combinations for a 10 year old. They are a little small so better buy a size up. They were advertised as 'wool socks' but their percentage of wool is only 30% and they are a little thin. I expected them thicker, more appropriate for winter boots. EDIT: I still stand by my previous review but they are literally my son's favourite socks. There are no seams on them to cause him irritation, and he wears them even in the heat of summer because they're so comfortable for him. So. Yes. I'm buying them again.These socks look so beautiful and plush when new, but after a day of wear, they're really rough looking. The soles pill like crazy and makes them look so bad. My son is very particular in the way his clothes for and feel on his body. I have tried countless styles of socks to find one that fits him perfect. I was about to give up, and tried these on a whim. He loves them! They’re super soft and stretchy and have some cushion to them. No seams anywhere to bother him. They are super soft and my boys love them. The reason they are so soft is because they are only 17% wool. Sure the description has the breakdown of the fabric but I thought I was buying “wool socks”. Also found them a bit shorter then I hoped. But like I said, the boys love them. Read more
