Gifted to our friends kid, turned 3, it came to us already assembled in the box, which was nice. No missing pieces. But when we opened it again at the birthday party I noticed the wood was chipping where the screws were, the plastic has strings from quick messy production, and the screws them selves were very cheaply made, just plastic halves that looked like they’d fall apart if they were accidentally stepped on or screwed too tightly.No instructions came with the toy so if they ever took it apart completely then they’d have to guess on how it went back together:/I would not buy it again. My niece loves imitating her parents with this tool kit! She can easily turn the screw-in parts, i mean it doesn’t take too much strength. She is developing a good grip and coordination. She is really good at the hammering :-). None of the parts are super small, but i still watch closely. And none of the parts are fun to step on with bare feet, so i do keep this in the play area as much as possible. The colors are bright and permanent and non-toxic. I'm kind of stumped by the high ratings on this. The wood is a little rough (won't hurt little hands, just not as smooth as you would expect) and the whole thing is kind of rickety the minute you start unscrewing the pieces. Would not recommend. Read more

The wooden structure it’s fine and strong enough. The big problem is the bolts are made from two pieces of plastic which aren’t glued well together. Putting the bus together, my young daughter was finding the screws falling apart in her hands. The plastic screws are not strong enough to support the wooden pieces. Required a little surgery with UHU glue to keep to screws in one piece. Read more
