The thing I know is that this was a fine make-up for my purposes. It was the right color, it stayed on as indicated, easy to wash off, but stayed on while I needed it on. There is a lot of make-up here for the one-time-per-year use it will get, and on the package I read that it expires in 18 months. Other water-based powder theatre make-up I have had has lasted for ...ahem... decades! Does it turn poisonous and/or toxic after 18 months? What changes after 18 months?
