I needed a new stamping polish quickly (I have an event coming up in the next few days that I want to wear lovely nails to), and my standard go-to isn't currently available via Prime, so I decided to try these. They seemed like a value for the price, but boy was I wrong! The black stamps just fine, but even after it's completely dry it smears with a top coat application. The white doesn't want to stamp AT ALL, and what you manage to get on your nail also smears with a top coat when completely dry. I was unable to mix other colors with the white and use them successfully, which makes a white stamping polish completely useless to me. I’m a first timer when it comes to nail stamping but this polish helped so much! I use it with the maniology stamping plates and it works perfect. There is definitely a learning curve and it took me a few tries to get it right but that was more user error than anything. It’s nice and opaque, dries quickly and doesn’t smudge with a gel top coat applied. Looks great with both shiny and matte looks and is far more affordable than other brands I’ve tried. The bottles look a smidge small but a little definitely goes a long way. I’ve been using it for months and my bottles are still over half full. I will absolutely be buying again! Read more

These are NOT recommended. I only used the Black, and after the mess it created I was done with them. So It stamps wonderfully. Then you get to clean up - you touch any of the black polish on your skin with remover - it instantly pools up and runs, rather than just brushing up like standard polish clean-up. When I went to put clear coat on my stamped nails, after being completely dry, it smeared. Once single brush stroke of clear/top coat and you have instant streaks. This totally ruins the really intricate stamp designs. Upon removing all polish from my nails again - black. all. over. Cleaning the stamp plate - black ran all over. I have never cleaned a messier polish before. I miss MASH and their stamping polishes so much. Back to the search for new stamp polishes. Read more

TIP- To avoid smudging when applying top coat, I suggest using either thick gel topcoat (or a thick regular topcoat) and DAB it on and allow it to self-level, don't paint it on.Anyway... Did I mention, wow! This stamping polish is fantastic. Ordered 2-day shipping, arrived well packaged and no leaking. These stamping polishes are very pigmented and show up on almost any base color you have on the nail. They are not too thick, so they are easy to scrape along your design. I got a design pick up every single time with these polishes, and was able to remove anything around the nails with tape. The only issue I have with them is the fact that they smear--- big time. The black in particular is the biggest culprit. They will be completely dry and then you go to remove them with polish remover and they just smear everywhere. I worked on my nails for 15 minutes with polish remover and they are still stained from the dark color. My advice is practice stamping so when you are applying a design to your manicure you get it right the first time and don't have to remove anything. Read more

I saw some pictures on the reviews and thought this was a good deal for the price (based on the photos). The bottles looked like normal size bottles in the reviews photos. But I received tiny bottles…. I was really disappointed. Probably should have looked better in the description and see how much product I would be getting…. (They probably changed the size of the bottles ) But I guess I just trusted the photos of previous customers…. But still….. such a disappointment. I would not buy again. I was even thinking of getting more colors from this brand. But if the bottles are going to be this tiny I don’t think it’s worth it.The polish itself it’s tricky to use. It can get very messy very fast. And if you get it on your skin it will stain your skin even if you remove the polish with acetone. I imagine this is because the polish is very opaque so that it stamps better. So I would definitely use a Liquid latex protection instead of just letting it go to my skin and then clean it. Arrived faster than expected! Works very well. As my inexpensive Walmart polishes we’re working for stamping I wonder if I needed “stamping polish”. The answer is yes. It’s so much more opaque. Going to order more Born Pretty polishes now. :) Read more

In truth, I bought these because I found them for $13C for two. That is a steal for these as Born Pretty stuff (other than their stamping plates) tends to be expensive. I already owned a few other colors but they've been sitting idle since I started using Sally Hansen's Insta Dri polishes, which I find exponentially better than BP stamping polish. These are fabulous for stamping and reverse stamping because they're thick and highly pigmented- also because they dry super fast and are cheap and easy to find at drugstores! Side by side I compared these to SH's black and white and SH wins for clarity and pigmentation. So no, although a good quality, BP isn't worth the long wait time for shipping to Canada or the cost. I'll stick to just buying their plates. Read more
