An odd solution to an odd problem. I’ll explain...Problem: So we have a cat who loves to play with/eat bottle nipples during the night. I think the soft rubber texture makes the cat think she’s playing with a little animal. She steals bottle nipples from the bottle drying rack every night. Literally every night. Replacing $10/3 pack of nipples became expensive when this was a weekly occurrence. Remembering to hide the nipples worked; however, if we forgot to do this the cat would take and destroy all of the bottle nipples! Super annoying. Plus, the cat would vomit the rubber up the next day. I’m pretty sure there could be an expensive vet bill down the road if she were to ever swallow too big of a piece.Solution: This product works as a “cage” for bottle nipples. We put the rubber parts of the bottle inside this and let the parts air dry. I especially love how it fits nice and snug on the top of out vertical bottle drying rack. So it doesn’t look stupid and oddly placed. The cat can’t get the bottle nipples anymore! And my husband and I don’t forget to hide the bottle nipples from the cat because it is right on the drying rack.I have not yet used this product in the dishwasher as it is designed for, but if it can survive my cat it can survive a dishwasher. Probably good for certain products. I use the Avent natural style nipples which are wider/different shape than typical or classic nipple. As such, they do not fit in the slots or holes as well, and because they are so wide the water is not able to rinse the basket contents effectively. But it seems well-made, it fits nicely into the top dishwasher rack. Read more

Ha -- lots bigger than I expected! I got this to wash the few tiny items that I sometimes stick in my dishwasher, either in the utensil caddy or on the top shelf, like lids and small measuring spoons. These often end up in the bottom of the dishwasher since they are so light. This basket certainly works to contain and control them, but something smaller would be better. However, my mistake. I still will use it as long as I can find room in my already-full washer. It is very sturdy and well-made. Read more

I didn't buy this for bottles, so I can't review on the durability, but I use it for washing the shaker balls that come in blender bottles. It's the perfect way to sterilize those little metal spring balls with out damaging them or my dishwasher. It was larger than I expected but that's okay because I can fit about 6 of those shaker balls inside it and sanitize them all at once. Read more

It was bigger than I expected but I did not look at the size before I ordered it. It is a little hard to open until you get the hang of it but at least you do not have to worry about it opening in the dishwasher. Very nice overall and worth the money. Read more

We exclusively bottle feed using formula and we use these everyday. I even bought a second to use. We use Dr. Browns original and wide neck as well as Avent original and natural bottles. We fit anywhere from 6-8 nipples or pacifiers on the outside and all of the bottle parts on the inside. I recommend not washing bottle caps in the basket because the water will collect in any upside down caps. You can fit many parts inside the basket and they get clean. I'd recommend getting two if you exclusively use a bottle with extra parts. Read more

Not really sure if it’s user error but this is just all around hard to use. The “locking” mechanism to keep it closed make it annoyingly difficult to open and the there’s nothing to hold the nipples in the holes in the basket so they fall and don’t get completely clean in the dishwasher. This works great for binkies and smaller nipples for different bottles but not so much the boon Nursh line. Also no place to hold straws like other baskets we’ve tried :( Read more

I love being able to wash all the bits and pieces of baby gear without worrying the they'll end up in the bottom much of the dishwasher. I can rinse things off and pop them into the basket clutch and leave the clutch on the top shelf of the dishwasher. I still sterilize pumping parts etc after washing, but little toys can go right back into use. Read more

For years with my first child we used to either hand wash bottles or place them in the dishwasher only to find everything had moved all over the place and had to be thoroughly rinsed out with hot water again. After purchasing this for my second child I was very impressed. It easily holds at least 3 bottle parts (we have the MAM bottles so dismantle them and put the sections inside). We then only need to put the actual bottle part itself within the dishwasher which doesn't move anyway. This saves so much time as now all we do is take this basket out once the dishwasher is finished, give it a quick rinse over in the kitchen sink and let everything dry. Read more

I’m totally childless and bought this as the best thing I could find to stop small items flying around the dishwasher so I knew it was likely to only approximate what I wanted — and it does. The mechanism to clip the basket closed is fiddley to use and the space available is much reduced by the internal plastic strips to hold baby bottles: I’m trying to decide whether to cut them out as it might compromise keeping the device shut during washing. I need to use this for a bit longer before deciding whether it’s worth the trouble —- probably will be once I’ve mastered it.Maybe someone will manufacture a purpose-made basket for general small items that gave nothing to do with babies: that would be ideal. Absolutely love this!!! Great for all the little things that end up in the bottom of the dishwasher at the end of the cycle. Holds things like teats, dummies, lids, baby cutlery & so much more. It also doubles as a great baby toy when not in use, my little one loves it 🙈 hopefully this is a sign that he will help me load the dishwasher when he’s a bit bigger 😉. Feels durable and is large enough to fit a decent amount inside. Read more

Due to its rounded bottom it is very tricky to keep standard baby bottle lids upright. Lids fall over easily when you close the basket and during the dishwasher cycle, which means they fill up with dirty water and have to be washed again. Read more

Love these, I use them for my MAM anti-colic bottle bits and teats. I put the actual bottle part straight in the dishwasher, but these are great for the many parts you get with these bottles. Each basket fits the parts of two bottles with just enough space to let the water move around. My life has got so much easier since I started putting my bottles in the dishwasher thanks to these baskets. Read more
