That child proof cabinet/drawer locks work wonderfully! The adhesive sticks well, and the locks work well. We have purchased a few sets of these, and we use them all over the house (kitchen, bathroom, family room). The locks are easy for adults to open, but our 16-month old cannot open them. There is little to no resistance to open these locks, once a child has figured out how it works it's game over.This product will stop kids at 2 or younger (if you're lucky), but 3+ yr olds will blow by this within a week. Sadly, this seems to be popular design on Amazon. I've had locks that provided better security against 5-6 yr olds. I'm not saying their product is bad, it's just useless at certain ages. A simple design that's easy to lock and unlock, hopefully the toddler won't be able to work out how to undo it. There is a small amount of give in the strap so the drawer can open a bit. It feels like some repeated determined tugs could break the strap.The "non undoing" side is made of 2 pieces of plastic that have the strap running between them. You can adjust its position along the strap then close it together so you can choose what length you want. Unfortunately once this side is in position it's locked there so you can't readjust or resuse the straps on another drawer that would need a different length strap.I probably would have given it 4 stars but one of mine was already locked with a short strap so is now useless for where I wanted to use it so I've effectively paid for 6 and got 5!Installation is easy with a 3M peal off pad on each end. I can't comment too much on how well the adhesion will hold up but it's 3M so should be good. Read more

I have a very clever Labrador who has managed to foil just about every baby-proofing product I have tried, he has also managed to disable latches and hook/eye connections that I have on a sliding door, you can see the disabled latch, which he has manages to break previously in the photo.I also have a sump/cupboard under my fish-tank, which is an aluminium structure and all of the previous clip-on or screw fix devices have been nimbly removed by my 1 yr old or unable to be fixed due to the material, these bad boys have not only secured both but have stayed in place and far outshone any previous attempt to secure, the added bonus being these will be removed without mark when finished with! I love these! So easy to fix on and they work exceptionally well. Each side sticks onto your cupboards with an adjustable strap between them. The only thing you have to be careful of is to get the strap adjusted correctly before clicking it into place. Once clicked, you can’t re-adjust.Once fitted there is a small bar in the middle of one side that you have to slide out and pull towards you to undo it. This has proved impossible for our little one to figure out after a good 3 months of watching us open them.They’re great as you can tell from a good distance if you’ve forgotten to close them, they are really sturdy and can fit on any shape of furniture. We bought these to keep our inquisitive 9 month old out of the kitchen cupboards and so far, so good! We bought a different brand first and after numerous unsuccessful attempts to install them we decided to give these a go. They are simple to stick on, and easy to use too: quickly push the switch to the side and pull, then the cupboard is open.
