Along with the ongoing lawsuit about protein spiking- I found the product did not have the allotted amount of protein guaranteed within the product. Read more
I have added 6lbs of muscle using this with my normal workout in 3 weeks. I would struggle to add 2lbs in a month before using this. I just ordered 2 more. Put it in milk, make shakes with it, add it to smoothies, tastes good! I work out 3 days in consecutive days M,T,W then rest the remaining days. Workouts are about 2 hours. Light art to warm up all muscle groups, then heavy sets to the point of failure. I use the mix twice and day during workout days and one the day after to makensure I have enough protein for the repair process. 6lbs in 3 weeks! Read more
The words are blurred in the description. It contains Sucralose, an artificial sweetener. Studies have shown that sucralose::1. May Cause DiabetesDaily consumption of diet soda containing the artificial sweetener sucralose increases your risk of metabolic syndrome by 36 percent, and your risk of type 2 diabetes by 67 percent.2. Increases Risk of Irritable Bowel Syndrome and Crohn’s Disease. In 1991, Canada became the first country to approve the use of sucralose as an artificial sweetener, and in Alberta, Canada, digestive problems such as IBS symptoms, ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease increased by 643 percent..(I became extremely tired and exhibited pre-diabetic symptoms.) Tried a lot of different whey protein powders from other companies and most of them had gritty or grainy taste/texture except this one. I only had the chocolate and vanilla flavors and they’re pretty good the only thing is that the chocolate flavor is a little malty for me but a little extra water or milk helps cut that. As for the vanilla flavor it taste very similar to birthday cake frosting which isn’t a bad thing if you have a sweet tooth. The vanilla is VERY creamy but it does have a certain back taste that some people might not like. Read more
I purchased the vanilla flavor just to add a little bit of protein to my oatmeal. I use about half a scoop so the can will last me much longer than normal.Normally, I get chocolate and thought I would try vanilla just for a different flavor. It really has a good taste and mixes very easily with the oatmeal. If you were to use this as instructed with two scoops, I'm not sure if I would continue to get this or maybe another brand. This would run out fairly quickly if you were to use as instructed. Read more
Got this to mix in my smoothies as a meal replacement, but was worried about the taste. I got the vanilla so I could blend in berries to make it taste good. I’m actually surprised with how great it tastes alone. When I first got it my blender had broke, so I mixed it with unsweetened almond milk in my husbands blender bottle. It is so good! I finally got my new blender today and was able to make my smoothie and let me tell you.... I am in love. I thought the protein powder would make it taste weird, but it actually adds a nice flavor to it. Read more
I originally ordered the vanilla and was sent the wrong one. Amazon were incredibly quick to rectify that so the shopping experience was great. Overall I have used this protein powder for a while and it's been a great supplement while on a budget. It's taste may not compare to some of the higher brands, but it's still fairly food and consistent. I would really recommend this if you are on a budget and looking for additional protein in your diet. Keep in mind this is a "supplement" and not meant to replace real sources of protein such as meat, nuts, etc. Read more
