Body Fortress High Protein Shake delivers 40g of premium protein in each convenient, ready-to-drink protein shake. That’s 33% more protein per fluid ounce than the leading protein supplement brand!(2) Protein researchers have long known larger amounts of protein are needed to stimulate muscle renewal as we age, but emerging research suggests 40g of protein taken after an high-intensity, full-body workout can lead to more muscle protein synthesis compared to only 20g even in young adults.(1) But Body Fortress isn’t just about quantity, we know protein quality is just as important for supporting your hard-earned gains. That’s why we formulated these shakes with a blend of premium milk protein isolate and milk casein, providing 6g of BCAAs. This combination of easy-to-digest proteins provide sustained muscle support ideal for post-workout recovery, between meals, breakfast, or anytime. Consume a High Protein Shake at bedtime to help maximize overnight muscle renewal and growth.

Are now my absolute go to! I’ve had every brand and flavor, at every price. These are by far the best tasting and best valued ones I’ve found, by far. Just my opinion, and of course everyone has their own tastes.... Read more
I don't buy these protein drinks for the taste. Most of them are too sweet and you have to dilute them to make them tolerable. This one is not only sweeter than sweet it can boast of its chemical flavored delivery. Smells awful. Tastes even worse. Medicinal on the palet. However, if the health benefits are worth it then it's worth it. I will have to add skim milk, possibly a half to half ratio to be able to not throw the cartons out the window. Maybe in a smoothy with limes and lanolin will do the trick. 40 grams of protein? If that's true it will be worth it. We aint using these kinds of products for pleasure but we want to able to keep them down. Refrigeration or ice is crucial. Cloy. Cloying. Look it up. It's a good word for a super sweetness manufactured in hades. Yes I will buy again, maybe forever, but Lord 'av mercy!____________________________________________________Update: I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt. When I took them out of the fridge I found they tasted WORSE cold. This product is so horrible I'll throw the rest of the cartons away. Can't believe a consumer product could be so ghastly so it's got to be a result of sabotage at the factory. I'm not trying to be clever. What else could it be? Some reviewers love the stuff. Definitely sabotage. I'm not willing to blow another 25 dollars to find out if my hypothesis is wrong with another batch. I'll leave that up to you, dear reader. Here' a leg up: The zoo. I'm a long time Body Fortress fan. I was able to lose 50lbs in 3 months by drinking the powdered version every morning. When these came out I was excited about having a grab and go version for convenience. Here's a tip; keep them at room temperature and pour them over ice before drinking. This is what I did with my first one because I was too impatient to wait for them to chill. It was perfect. Not too sweet, no weird taste. It was just a very good chocolate protein shake. The next day I tried one out of the fridge. Once chilled they get a very thick texture and the taste is different. They don't taste bad; they're just better if you drink them over ice or room temperature.I'm a former type 2 diabetic so I like to test new foods to make sure they aren't spiking my blood sugar. These did not raise my blood sugar. They actually dropped it a few points. Read more
in many reviews people talk about how the shakes taste chemically, like paint, or are just gross overall, while they are not something you would ever drink for enjoyment they are not bad. I think when leaving a review about the not favorable taste people forget to look at the nutrition facts as it's essentially just straight protein with a small amount of fat, sugar, and flavoring. That said you will definitely not be drinking this unless you have some level of motivation or just hate yourself that much. I tend to chug mine which is achievable in 3-4 goes, but I would 100% be able to sip it if I decided but I'm not sure why I would. After consuming 2 or 3 the taste does get a lot better as you get accustomed to it but it doesn't ever taste like a milkshake as some protein shakes tend to. Hope this helps :) Read more
I really wanted to like this shake. I mean, what's not too like about forty grams of protein? Until, that is, you take your first drink of this thick, goo. You'll immediately be hit with a chalky metallic aftertaste eerily reminscient of our favorite pink bismuth. I guess it might not be too bad if you could take it home and mix it with some fruit, additional milk, but I guess that kinda defeats the purpose. Too bad. Read more
Ingredients are good, tastey. I am a cancer patient doctor wants me to drink miniumn of 80g protein a day I don't eat enough to get it. Its nice to be able to drink one in morning and one in afternoon so if not hungry I am not losing any muscle. The price is better than ensure tastesmabout the same and don't have to drink as many to get the 80g. Read more
You can't beat the protein in 11 oz....calories are similar to other high protein brands. I like the fact it has less than 1g of sugar. I add the vanilla shake to my coffee in the morning. It keeps me feeling full during my morning routine. It's definitely my go to shake! Read more
Amongst the '40' shakes (and I think I've tried them all), this is my personal favorite in terms of flavor and texture. Only sucky part is I cant seem to find the Vanilla flavor anywhere. Read more
