I'm usually not one to purchase an item with no reviews, but I've been watching Bob and Brad's videos for a while and I've been wanting my own massage gun after trying my friend's full sized (different brand) one long ago. I'm honestly really glad I purchased this smaller version. It's much easier for me to hold without my arm getting tired, and it's got PLENTY of power behind it. When you turn it on, it defaults to the lowest power setting, which is perfect for my liking. I'm surprised at how powerful the lowest setting is - I could never imagine using it at its strongest. Please note that it has an automatic shutoff after 10 minutes. Even though I find myself switching body parts and having to turn it back on, it's not a huge deal (it's probably good that I'm reminded not to overdo it in a single sitting). For the size and ease of holding, coupled with the under $100 price, I would absolutely recommend this massage gun over other larger, more expensive ones I've seen being sold. Read more

First off, I've given this experience five stars but have not given the massager itself any ratings.Let me explain.After enduring days of left quad pain, I came across a Bob and Brad YouTube video on the subject. B & B advocate the use of a massager in the healing process, and I really liked their Q2 Mini Massage pocket-sized gun they were demonstrating.I ordered one.When I received it, I was immediately impressed with its compact yet very sturdy case into which the beautifully-constructed gun and attachment heads fit neatly. I set it up to charge the battery.Sadly, the green light--indicating charging had begun--kept going out.I ordered a replacement.When this arrived I found that this massager also didn't want to charge.At this point I was ready to return both massage guns and get a refund but decided to first reach out to the manufacturer to get some feedback. Maybe I was doing something wrong.Immediately the customer service representative jumped into helping me. Thinking the problem might lie in my adapter, they sent me (free of charge) a new charge cord and adapter.No go.Maybe others would have given up. But by now I was so impressed with how responsive and determined their customer service representative was to help me, I wasn't ready to throw in the towel. And there was otherwise too much quality in evidence in this massager (not to speak of its excellent reviews) for these to be anything but fluke-ish happenings.I'd been flirting with the idea of getting the larger of the massage guns--the C2 model--but balked at the heftier price. When I shared this with the representative, I was offered either a discount on one of these models OR a replacement + discount off the price of the original pocket-sized gun--the Q2. I decided to go with the larger gun.Long story short -----> the C2 model arrived yesterday and charged beautifully. Even though this larger model has a really great silicone handle, I'd been concerned that it might prove a bit unwieldy for me. Instead, it's very light-feeling and agile; for something with such a powerful motor, it's easy to handle. I tried a couple of the heads and especially liked the air cushion attachment. (I applied the massager to my lower left back and it felt wonderful! )I've rated the experience five stars but none for the original Q2 pocket-sized mini massager as I wasn't able to put it to use.I'm 100% glad that I hung in there. As was offered, I've been refunded 30% of the larger massager--the C2--price.Looking back, I feel so lucky to have happened on a customer service representative who not only empathized with what I was experiencing but set about making things right for me in the end. I can tell you though that this mini massage gun doesn't make sense to me (in a good way).How it packs so much power in such a small form factor is INSANE to me. I was blown away with the first use. Just by picking it up and holding it you can tell it's a solid, well made massage gun, not like any knock off or cheapo product. The stall force is also crazy given the size, you can dig in harder than some of the larger massage guns that I have used. 5 star product in my opinion, and I'm actually going to buy another one to have as a backup because it's so amazing. I have a larger one that costs twice the amount of this and I'm giving it away because this one blows it away. And for a price around $80-$90???? Buy this and don't look back, trust me. Read more

If you want to buy the Bob and Brad massage gun please get the full size one since the distance the massage head travels (back and forth) is farther and it provides for a more effective massage.I do not recommend making the size trade-off or slightly cheaper price. It’s not effective as a massage gun in my opinion. You need something that “punches” and this massage gun simply vibrates (doesn’t provide the punch).Trust me. Get either the Bob and Brad full size massage gun or another brand full size gun (if price is major factor). Read more

I was very excited to receive the massager that I ordered. I started charging it right away because the instruction says that it needs 3.5 hours to complete charging. By night time, only the green charging light is on and the massager doesn't turn on. I thought maybe the plug is broken, so I switched charging plug and left it to charge overnight. By next day morning, the same thing, only the green charging light and still cannot be turned on. Then I thought, "maybe the product is defective, because the machine would not turn on after charging." So I initiated a product return and replacement request on Amazon. Later as I removed the charging cable to pack the massager back to its case for return, I decided to give it a last try, then it worked!!! Ah Ha!!! That's what the instruction manual means when it says "the massager cannot be turned on when it is charging." After that, it works beautifully. The vibration and different massage heads on different parts of the body are very relaxing and helpful to reduce body aches. Read more

We used it to rehab a pulled quadricep. The oscillating motion was perfect for cross tissue massage.The unit feels solid in your hand. While in use, the massaging penetrates deep, but the feedback to the hand holding it is minimal. I especially like the air cushion head because it doesn’t bang around on bone when massaging areas with thin muscle or a lot of bone like the shoulder blade.It has plenty of power so I don’t feel that this mini version is lacking anything compared to the larger version. There's a couple of photos so you can see the size difference between two.Size:It is a lot smaller, and much easier to throw into my away bag or gym bag. It's also a lot less obvious when you use it in the gym, compared to a full size one. Despite its size though, it's still got some weight to it and the material is pretty solid!It's a lot easier on the wrist as well when trying to get awkward positions due to its size and lighter weight.Charging:USB C... Amazing! Charges super fast thanks to having USB C input, but I do use a USB C to USB C cable. It does come with a standard USB to USB C cable which works fine, but just won't charge quite as fast.The massage:Having been used to a full size massage gun, I was surprised at how how well this actually compared to it. Obviously it won't be as good, but that's not the point of it. I actually use it the same amount as my full massage gun, as it's easier and more convenient to carry around and use.The pressure is good, more than enough to give a good massage, comes with more attachments, of which I have my favourites and tend to just stick to those.Definitely glad I bought one, and recommend if you're looking for your first massage gun, or just want a smaller one as well like me! This is the first massage gun I have owned. I assume you are reading this to see if it is worthwhile buying? The answer is "yes" from me. I have only used it for a few days, but so far so good. I did quite a bit of research before buying this. There are many massage guns on the market. I found that this & the Thermagun range came out on top consistently. But the difference in price is significant. With an Amazon discount code the Q2 was affordable & seems ideal for a first massage gun. It is very comfortable to hold. It packs a good punch for a small device & I don't see me requiring anything more forceful at this stage, even on the lower power levels it does what is needed. I am a 64 year old (ex-athletic build, ruptured Achilles tendon, calf now prone to cramping & tightness) male. Who, after a round of golf was finding that ache in the calf difficult to clear even with stretching before and after the event.I know that massage releases the pressure and eases the muscles in my calf but it is not easy to get to the trigger areas myself.A massage gun not only does the pounding of the muscle but because I am doing it myself I can judge the pressure of the treatment.There are a number of massage guns out there, but the Brad and Bob mini gun is the best on a number of levels.Noise: I like to use mine in the evening just before bed and it is not noiseless but b&b mini massage gun allows you to hold a normal conversation without raising your voice.Size: size is not everything! But in this case it is dynamite. I have a medium sized hand & I find it so easy & comfortable to use. Larger massage guns can feel ill-balanced & awkward.Power & resistance: even though the mini massage gun looks small it still lasts for 10 sessions of 8 minutes (may be longer, I always charge when the warning light comes on). As for resistance... I used a friend's (non branded) massage gun before and if you press really hard it stops the whole gun. The Brad & Bob mini massage gun does not stop when I use it. Great little.massage gun, very light and have plenty if battery life.much easier to.hold and has a rubber grip.which makes it comfortable when holding for longer period.Auto timed cut off is great feature too and the variety of heads allows for good range of messages.bought as a replacement of another hand held massage gun and this was much cheaper and just as good.USB charging makes itnmuch easier as can use phone charger instead.overall great bit if kit and easy to use carry case is a nice touch Read more

I bought this massage gun as I used to have a bigger one which unfortunately broke. I thought I’d get a smaller one this time so it was easier to take to sporting events and use on the go. My only worry was that it would not be as powerful, but I was wrong! This gun packs just as much of a punch as it’s larger rivals, and then neatly slots away into a small carry case which can easily fit in a backpack. The attachments are the usual ones you’d get with any other gun, but made to a high quality as is the gun and the case it comes in. USB C charging is a nice touch so I don’t have to carry around lots of different cables, but the battery lasts long enough anyway!Overall, anyone who is looking at getting a massage gun that is out off by thinking this won’t be as good as the larger guns in the market, give this one a try as you won’t be disappointed!
