Product is great bought a bottle back in April, I noticed my Beard started to thicken after a month or so. I love the smell as well I don’t get sick of it one bit. The comb didn’t last unfortunately it lost a battle to a teething puppy being utterly destroyed (R.I.P. comb). Not to mention my mustache started to come in after applying for a month I can’t blame the product for my lack of stache before hand, Now instead of looking like a fat amish man with a neck beard I look like a Plump Thicc Boy with a decent beard with a borderline rat stache. Im guessing that there was something wrong with the batch of beard oil I received as it smelled almost like a sweet rot smell - I tried it as soon as it arrived and I had to instantly wash my beard out. It was not pleasant! I feel bad putting in the review but there was something clearly wrong with the product I received as Sandalwood scent is one of my favorite scents - I can assure you this was not the case. As a proud bearded fellow since my early teens, I have tried many beard products. Close to 100 brands of beard oil including many here on Amazon. Something I've always found essential. This beard oil here is easily one of my top 3 and I've only been using it for a couple days. The sandalwood is spot on. Not over bearing. The other oils scents dont become prominent. Subtle but maintains its calming fragrances throughout the day. Its not a heavy oil either. Its gives you the shine and control without being a greasy mess. The blend helps with beard itch and helps the skin feel nice and conditioned, as it should. My only gripe, which is very miniscule and more of an annoyance, is that the dropper on top is terrible as it pulls only a small drop of the product out at a time. Read more

Like the Combe. It’s got a nice grind on one side and works well for a good beard scratching. Hopefully it lasts and doesn’t dry out- think the wood is unfinished. Oil isn’t incredibly scented- which is good since it’s so close to your nose but bad because I love potent sandlewood scents. Forces me to buy Calogne too. I guess your getting exactly what you are paying for. Read more

I'm sensitive to many scents, perfumes, etc. - I can't even walk through the cosmetics section of The Bay without getting a headache - so I was concerned about what effect this beard oil's scent may have on me, given that it'd be applied so close to my nasal passages. Thankfully, I've had no such issues.The scent is both pleasant and subtle. Even with it freshly applied as directed, it isn't overpowering, and I'm confident that it won't be bothering anyone I walk past either. I often forget it's even there, and the odd time that I do get a whiff of it, it's quite nice and doesn't linger long.I've been using it daily for a couple weeks now, and I can feel my beard start to soften and become easier to groom. All in all, I'm very satisfied and will purchase again. If you've never used a beard oil before (as was the case with me prior to purchasing), I'd say this is a great place to start leveling up your beard game. Read more
