Wasn't until it got here that I realized it contains ingredients I'm really allergic to, and I could become seriously ill if I take it. I took biosil for a decade. I initially liked that it did strengthen my nails. I think they changed the filler or something in the last year because I started having cloudy urine, and my doctor suggested I stop any supplements. Biosil was the only thing I took. Urine cleared, but now my hair has been falling out like CRAZY for the last two months. I do NOT recommend!! Nothing is worth losing half your hair if you ever decide to stop taking it. Read more

For the past few years my hair had been on thinning at my hair line and earlier this year I started seeing my scalp more! I began to eat healthier, stopped the cardiac meds I was on but never even needed to begin with ( after researching I learned those are long- term culprits!) a d began taking biotin and supplements with kelp and algae , also omega 3 caps . Over a period of a few months I was seeing positive results, however when I heard about this product from a lovely YouTu er(who showed her own before and after results) I had to give it a try, after the first month I started seeing more re-growth!!!!. I ordered these capsules after my hair girl told me to try them. After surgery, supposedly you lose hair and your skin becomes super dry. I guess because all of my previous surgeries were when I was in my 20's, that I never noticed hair loss or anything. Now that I am in my 40's, I guess I need to accept the fact that I'm over the hill. Lol.My widow's peaks were receded pretty bad, my hair felt like straw hay, and my skin was flaky, where when I took off my undergarments, you could see dead skin flying off, like the girl in Breakfast Club when she shook her head and dandruff went onto her picture. Lol. Needless to say, it's gross.I started taking these, but not as much as she recommended, because I am also trying not to create bigger scars than I already have. Collagen can make your scars worse so to offset it, I've ordered the silicone serum, and I also ordered silicone tape for when I'm going to be out and about and don't won't to feel like the serum is getting sweated off.I took them as the label suggested, and after a month, I noticed my heals weren't as dry - which we all know that keeping your heals hydrated is the hardest, and I noticed I wasn't shedding as much. My skin, overall, isn't flaky anymore, but it's still dry so I have been using coconut oil after my shower.All in all, if I had to say if it works, I will say that it has to work somehow because I don't put oil on my heals and my hair is usually shedding all day. It still sheds, but not as much. I've also been taking a multivitamin, and I used to never do that prior to my surgery.
