My skin is sensitive to most Sunscreens and breaks out very easily. To the point that even one comedogenic ingredient will cause breakouts, no matter how far down it is on the ingredient list.I also use Tretinoin, so my skin can err on the irritated/dry side at times. Tretinoin has also sensitized my skin a bit, so I was mostly worried about irritation from the alcohol in this sunscreen.I was pleasantly surprised to find that the alcohol seems to evaporate within a couple seconds, long before the product sinks into the skin. The smell is not nearly as strong as I expected either (it's pretty much scentless). This sunscreen is very cosmetically elegant. It's easy to spread and feels good on the skin. The best part is it sinks right in (my oily skin loves that). The finish is weightless with a very very slight shine, but nothing too crazy (I HATE shiny/dewey finishes on sunscreens because it accentuates my imperfections and makes me look greasy, this product is subtle and doesn't do that to me.)And fellow sensitive skin/tret users rejoice, I have a problem with irritation from even the most sensitive-friendly sunscreens and this product causes no stinging or tingling on application. It also doesn't dry my skin out after a few hours - another problem I've had in the past. This is not moisturizing on its own. You will want to use your own moisturizer prior to application. As I said above, it's not drying either. It's a really well balanced product, imo.I haven't used this for long but will update this review accordingly. Im pretty religious about reviewing - so if there are no updates, its safe to assume that I'm still using/loving it. Read more

Im black and wear this every day. It is completely clear with no purple tint. Has a slight smell but theres no added fragrance and the smell doesnt last nor is it off putting it just smells like spf normally would. Its a really thin texture so you dont use a lot (on your face) i only use like 2-3 drops on my face. I really recommend it. Its not matte tho so if you like a matte face with no makeup i dont think this is for you but i love the dewy look its right up my alley and affordable. Read more

I hate sunscreen. Hate wearing it, hate the cast it leaves and the greasiness that seems to come no matter what kind I’ve used. And then I discovered this stuff. It’s magical. Super light weight, absorbs quickly, and I wouldn’t know I was wearing it. I use it in my face and body and my five year old. Both of us have super sensitive skin and haven’t had so much as a clogged pore. If you struggle to wear sunscreen daily, this makes it way easier. Read more

I always dread wearing sunscreen. Tried different ones in the past, but this is the only one yet that doesn't make me feel oily and greasy. Every one I tried before just feels like a greasy layer on top of your skin. Since I would be out in the sun in probably very warm weather after applying, my sweat and sunscreen just create a weird goopy mess that I'm wiping away (even unintentionally) because it feels horridly irritating and makes me feel warmer like I have an extra layer of soggy skin.My skin is sensitive. I read the good and bad reviews. Decided to take a chance on it, and am happily surprised. It really feels like nothing is there. This needs to be sold in US stores so it is readily available and we can check the expiry date. Even if the price doesn't change much when imported or made here, I'd still gladly pay to not torture myself needlessly. Read more

I bought this sun GEL because my morning moisturizing CREAM was too thick after I started using Retinol at night. Spreading the cream would cause my skin to peel and flake off which looked horrible under makeup. I needed something with a thinner consistency, that would absorb well and provide SPF. This did all of those things and I'm so happy I got it. Although it doesn't explicitly say it's fragrance free, there's no discernable scent, and it doesn't sting my face at all. I'm 40 years old, acne prone, sensitive, combination skin. So happy I found this, but took off a star because the bottle is quite small and I can't read the ingredients. However for those that are wondering about expiration dates, mine came with a sticker on the back with an expiration of 10 months from when I bought it. Will definitely be purchasing again. This is the first sunscreen that doesn’t break me out, turn me into a greaseball, or have that awful sunscreen smell that I can somehow always taste after applying to my face. It’s my holy grail. I almost gave up on finding a sunscreen that would work and took a chance with this, super glad I did. It smells and feels like Cetaphil cleanser, but it dries down to a natural finish within a minute and I can’t even feel it. Works well under makeup, no white cast. I tested this in UV 11+ weather and didn’t have any redness. I’ve been successfully using this for about a month now and I only wish I had gotten the bigger bottle. Read more

I'm always on the lookout for my HG sunscreen. Wanted to try this due to the amount of great reviews. This sunscreen definitely feels like a lotion. It glides on, leaving no white cast and disappears in seconds. I felt my skin was well protected throughout the day. This is not waterproof. My only grip is that I have sensitive skin and I just can't take the alcohol content from this sunscreen. The alcohol scent is overwhelming at first application despite the fact that it does disappear after it completely dries on the skin. Great product, just doesn't work for me. This is great for resilient/normal/oily skin. Do not recommend for sensitive skin! Read more

This water based sunscreen is awesome! I normally use Biore aqua gel sunscreen on my face and this is basically the same texture and consistency for use on my body. Its perfect for darker skin tones bc it doesn't have the ashy look ingredients normally available here in US drug stores. It goes on lightweight. Only a little needed. Rub it in and it's as if there's nothing on the skin. Sweatproof and light, I love this. No more drug store ashy titanium dioxide sunscreen for me. Read more
