While I reviewed the gate itself, this is a good extension. The metal pegs which hold it in to the gate itself are good, fit will and are sturdy.My only complaint is that there is not a wider size selection. My door size is just on the edge of usable for the main gate. but it is also slightly too narrow for using this extension.Overall I think the extension is good and sturdy but price is a tad high.
