Have to share this as I know there are a lot of people who experience pain.I originally bought this product to use as I use Epsom Salt. The immediate result was much better. Not sure what happens, obviously the magnesium, but what really sold me on this product was the effect it had on me when I tore my MCL. It did not heal the tear - but it absolutely helped with the pain.For example - I was hobbling before I got in the bath and was able to walk without hobbling after 20 minutes of soaking. Excited to have magnesium flakes over epsom salt, but the natural scents in this package continue to stain my bathtub. I have used other brands before - Ancient Minerals, Dead Sea, Kneipp - and never had an issue. I'm happy with their unscented version, but this one is more headache than it's worth. Read more

I was introduced to these after 2 months in hospital on morphine. My entire body hurt with the withdrawal and also rehab from GBS. I have long lasting problems including herniated discs arthritis, nerve pain and peripheral neuropathy.I have had ‘normal baths’ and the heat helps whilst I’m in it but not when I get out. However in a magnesium bath it takes away the bone and related muscle pain completely and when I get out of the bath for bed (do it before bed!) my whole body feels relaxed and significant improvement in pain often pain free (depends if my nerves are causing pain) So by comparison I can assure you magnesium chloride DOES work. The nights I couldn’t physically get in the bath after hospital were horrendous. The days I couldn’t afford any more magnesium flakes and just had a normal bath were no better. This stuff really is a game changer. It’s worth every penny but for actual pain you want half a kilo in tbe bath or you won’t feel the benefit. It gets pricey. A good price for a kilo of the flakes. I bought this to go with my new foot spa. A cupful in the water, stir and leave to disolve and stick your feet in and sit back, relaxing. There's no scent from these flakes and it doesn't seem to soften the water but you do notice when you take your feet out and dry them. It certainly softens the skin. I've got nerve damage in my feet and the nurse said there was a high risk of complications. So, you take notice of what the nurse says and keep looking after your feet. I bought a good foot bath, a good moisturiser and this bag of flakes. I actually enjoy the experience and my wife kindly clears it all up afterwards as I just sit back and relax. Read more
