The best part about this beard oil is the tobacco vanilla scent... It's phenomenal. Can't express how much I like it. The scent is strong when you first apply it and mellows out nicely after a little while, so it's subtle and not overpowering. This is the largest advantage over argan oil (which I had been using on my beard before this oil and has a nutty scent which isn't always enjoyable).The first listed ingredient is organic hemp seed oil, which (like argan oil) has a comedogenic rating of 0 (least likely to clog pores) and is therefore supposed to be ideal for use on skin. I haven't decided if the hemp seed oil has been moisturizing my beard quite as well as argan oil; even if not, it's still doing a very good job and is worth the trade-off for having such a good scent. The bottle the oil comes in is glass, which is good. It's a small complaint, but I'd prefer the dropper tube in the bottle was glass instead of plastic.I recommend this beard oil.I received this product for free but was not required to write a review. I have not once used a beard oil beforehand this one, and I’m ecstatic with how prodigious of a product it is. I’ve never been much of a beard oil fellow, but if this is what I’ve been missing out on, then I’ve come to realize that I’ve truly been neglecting my facial hair.The Sandalwood scent oil is excellent as I'm a fan of sandalwood, The aroma isn't intense, and it's sophisticatedly delicate and holds through the day. This is actually the first "oil" I've used on my facial hair - I've had a moustache / goatee for well over 40 years. Has a pleasant scent - the vanilla being the dominant odor. The tobacco is barely noticible and tames the vanilla a bit (so you smell more like GrandPa than GrandMa). This is a nice alternative to the traditional Bay Rum scent. Applies easily and seems to last for several hours through normal activity. Softens the facial fur nicely without being greasy and obvious. Leaves a slight sheen. Also helps make combing a bit easier, helping keep everything in place in the process. I'll probably get more when I exhaust this supply. Overall very pleased. Read more

I ordered the Sandalwood Bourbon scented beard oil. I was attracted to the list of natural ingredients and the price. I even liked the label which to me is simple and mature, not gaudy or cartoonish like a lot of brands. It arrived right on time just as expected with Amazon shipping. Right out of the box, I opened it and put some in my beard. I had been at work all day and my beard was feeling a little dry. This beard oil went in very softly, not greasy feeling, and left my beard instantly feeling a lot softer. The scent is also something to mention. Like the label it smells like a mature man should smell. Not overpowering at all. A nice, warm, soft smell that is very soothing and comfortable. It instantly got the approval of my wife and 2 teenage daughters. Seriously, if they didn't like it, they would tell me. In the package received, had a coupon thing to get two free bottles with a review, so originally put a review off a sniff test, and received my bounty a few days later. The scent is overpowering at first with heavy whiffs of clove and subtle vanilla. It doesn't smell bad, but I'm not a fan of clove. I'm not one to waste, so I've used it daily, and I can admit, while the smell lingers, you get used to it and it disappears. Like others said, the old lady hates it, and she gets the deciding vote. -I found the smell very different than what I expected from "Tobacco Vanilla". It was too much vanilla with very little tobacco if at all. I did not like that.-The moisturizing is decent. I have given 4/5 for that. It does take a little more to get the desired effect as compared to other oils that I have used. However, this one is a little cheaper due to the promotion on Amazon for 20% discount. So it kind of evened out for me.Overall, due to the smell, I wouldn't use it while going out. For starters this smells nothing like sandalwood. Maybe it smells like bourbon? I wouldn't know. I will say that the scent is unique and I like it. It's masculine and smells like cologne.
