Every strip showed depleted no matter what nitric oxide booster used. Before I was out I bought other brand and did a side by side comparison. The other brand showed optimal level while the Berkeley strip showed depleted. The Berkeley strips were defective. Same as some other reviews. Will never buy Berkeley again. Read more

They simply don’t work. I saw some reviews saying this but bought them anyway. I tried them and they didn’t change color at all indicating that my NO is extremely low. I then bought another brand (HumanN brand) and it turns out my NO is quite high. After testing myself with the other brand, I immediately tested one of these strips and, again, no color change. Since getting the other brand, I have tested myself several times and have got varying degrees of color change from the other brand (that made sense given changes in my diet) while this brand continues to NEVER change color. I received a box of strips that did not register anything after I followed directions exactly as on the box.. I tried them first thing in the morning and then again approximately 1 hour after drinking beet juice AND taking a NO supplement. Same reading which tells me something. These strips show a color that doesn’t match the color chart. They’re kinda In between so I guess I average it? I even took two tests back to back and the results were different. So, not sure exactly how accurate they are. I’ve been eating a cup of spinach twice a day for two years as well as 2 cups of carrots and I cycle four times a week for twelve years but my reading is(I guess) somewhere between low and threshold- ish? Wish they were more consistent. Is this something to get you to buy their supplements? Oh well, I wanted them to work but there’s no way these are accurate as I’ve taken them right after a meal heavy in nitrates and then two hours later and the reading is the same. I'm not sure these are working properly, or accurate. I've followed instructions to a t (and this isn't the first time I've used NO testing strips), and I've tried them on four different people, always yielding the same result ("depleted"- barely pink at all). Two of the individuals I tested it on are strong atheletes in their prime, with no health issues and yet it still shows the same results as on an 80-year old with several health issues and an average 30 year old. I've never had problems with questionable results for NO testing strips before, so although these are still well within the expiration date, I am not sure how accurate they are. Even though I take a LOT of supplements and eat healthy, I still struggle with low energy. My first saliva test revealed the lowest NO on the chart, but it only took a few days of supplemental L-Arginine and eating beets to bring my Nitric Oxide levels up to optimum levels... I was told on other websites that NO could not be tested. So I could only guess if my cells were making too much or not enough. I seemed to have symptoms of both. Then one website I was reading said there was a simple saliva test, and it was cheap. So I bought some and tested to find I basically am not making NO. Part of my reasons for extreme fatigue and pain. The Berkeley box says it is patented. So I figure any other brand would be a knockoff the one that has the patent. Read more

At first I was disappointed with this product, but the customer service from Rob was outstanding. He helped and guided me to how to use these strip. Now my NO is quite high and I have seen a dramatic improvement with my performance. These strips will now be part of my athletic and health arsenal.
