My daughter loved this book from a very young age. She first enjoyed feeling the lady bugs and now she recognizes most of the bugs and other animals and will try to say their names. I look forward to continuing to read this book as she learns her numbers. I had to buy a second copy as a backup because the first copy was so beat up from her baby/toddler play. This is my second copy of this book. My sister loved it when she was little. A couple of decades later my toddler son loved this book to pieces. Literally to pieces. The binding wore down and he’d fling it as he ran with it. It held up as any book would. But when you treat it like a blanket, well you can imagine. The new book is holding up very nicely. He loves the way the ladybugs feel on the pages. I’ve stopped him at least ten times from taking it into the bathtub. I will definitely be buying this book again. Read more
