Used this shampoo along with the Safety 1st cradle cap brush and comb and it did amazing. I did a quick wash of my sons hair due to him being fussy and even with it being a quick wash, it removed a good deal of cradle cap. The shampoo is also gentle, smells good and is tear-free. I bought this to use on my adult sebum issue. I focus on the part of my hair that has the problem. I allow the shampoo to sit on my hair then work it through. This product works well. I use it every time I shampoo my hair. I have notice those areas where I was losing hair is now growing back. I also noticed that I don't get build as often or as much. This shampoo is great. My poor baby looked like a lizard from his forehead up. I'm talking about scales! We tried everything that we were told to do, we brushed every day (which just resulted in flakey scales), the ointment we were told to use just made the scales thicker and yellow. So I bought this hoping ir would do SOMETHING and oh my god did it. I gave him a bath like usual and once his hair was wet I combed it back. Then, I put this on a soft bristled brush and washed his hair in tiny circular motions with the brush. Since he had so many scales I had to rinse almost immediately then I repeated the process, rinse hair, comb back, brush with shampoo. All the scales on the back of his head and side are completely gone. The only spot with anything left is the crown of his head where the flakes were the worst. I love this product. My baby had some moderate/severe cradle cap toward the front of her head. I followed all advice for scrubbing her head when washing her hair with a fine bristle brush, with normal shampoo. I finished and everything was still there. the large amounts of dead skin. And to make things even worse, it was starting to smell. kind of like, sour? So, I was concerned. was getting ready to purchase something for yeast as well as this shampoo. But decided to just get this shampoo first and give it a try. I put it directly on her baby brush, and scrubbed away for around 3-5 minutes in the areas where I knew she had the build up of dead skin. It WORKS!! We bought Bella B Bee Gone Cradle Cap Baby Shampoo and Era Organic Healing ointment for my 3-month-old. After using this shampoo, I pat dried his hairs and applied the ointment immediately. Next morning, his cradle cap is almost gone (see picture). My 2mo baby had terrible cradle cap with big yellow scales all over his head and also an inflammatory component that was bright red and itching him to the point that without mittens he was clawing his head and his doctor had us putting hydrocortisone at night and was still terrible. I used this product to wash his hair after applying Era organics superbalm 3hrs before. With using this I was able to use a soft silicone brush and wash away almost all of the scales and the rest combed out easily. The next morning no cradle cap reappeared and the redness and itching was completely gone. I have tried mustela and mineral oil on baby 1’s cradle cap and didn’t think they were that helpful. In fact most of baby 1’s hair fell off with the cradle cap. For baby 2 decided to try this. I can’t really tell if it’s doing much. It seems to dry out the scalp to encourage the cradle cap to flake off better and I see less hair loss. Since it does significantly dry the scalp I alternate between this and water. And honestly, can’t tell if the water is just as effective as this product. I think it works better with really scaly cradle cap that’s probably fairly oily.Also- did not realize prior to purchase but this is not tear free! Read more
