Preparation: Trim, file and buff nails for a clean and dry surface. * Before opening the bottle, roll the bottle between your hands back and forth to gently mix. 2. Base Coat: Apply thin base coat, cure under UV/LED lamp for 60-90 seconds. 3. Gel polish: Apply first thin layer of color gel polish and cure under UV/LED lamp for 90-120 seconds. Apply the second or third layer color gel polish. * When applying color, wipe excess gel with brush before applying strokes. 4. Top Coat: Finish off with a layer of top coat, cure under UV/LED lamp for 90-120 seconds. * Applying every thin coat is the key * Tips to avoid chipping: 1. Before applying, please ensure your nails are completely dry, clean and oil-free. 2. Don't apply gel on the skin or cuticle. 3. Apply gel to the edge of each nail to seal the gel with the brush horizontally to avoid chipping. Removal Process: 1. Lightly buff off the shine from the top of nails using a nail buffer. 2. Soak a cotton ball or pad with nail gel remover and place on top of each nail. 3. Wrap the nail with aluminum foil or any nail wrap to secure and allow the remover to soak. 4. Soak for a minimum of 15 minutes. 5. Remove cotton and foils one at a time and gently push off gel using a removal wand. Gel should come off easily without much effort. If necessary, re-saturate cotton and rewrap finger and soak for 5 more minutes. 6. Lightly buff nails again once all gel is removed.

I’ve used several of the colors in this set already and wow! The formula goes on smoothly and lasted 10+ days before I took it off only to change the color. I make sure is file my nails to make the polish adhere better and then use 1 coat of a clear base, 2 coats of color, and 1 clear top coat/ cap the tips.The value is great and I plan on buying more colors from this brand. I ordered this set on prime day for $10.... which is insane how cheap! I’ve heard nothing but good things about Beetles, but I personally was always a Gellen fan. BUT! After trying these, I’m starting to buy Beetles now. The colors are very true to expectation. True red, true black, etc.... the pink is a cool tone pink which is so pretty! The gold is a fine glitter and the silver is a chunky glitter. All of them were 2 coats for full opacity and cured very well. Have legit no issues or complaints for this.... highly recommend, I’m thoroughly impressed..... will buy more. Read more
I am LIVID! I ordered this with high hopes of looking cute while upgrading make-up and wardrobe. I was so excited and loved the cute package/box it came in. First, I had to keep adding coats and I dried for quite awhile ... or so I thought. I go to my bedroom to grab something off my bed with my NEW duvet cover I JUST ordered from Amazon. Black polish drips onto the cover in 2 spots!!! A peach colored duvet! Then hours later than that, my toe polish is coming off on my open toed shoes! Immediately requested refund and have to print to return, even tho it said I didn't have to print! WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!! I love this polish! This is my first time doing gel nails by myself. I bought this color set and the base and top coat. I cured the base and the color layers for 2 minutes each and the top coat for 3 minutes. It says you don’t have to wipe with alcohol but I did anyways just in case. The photo is 3 days post manicure. The nail polish shows no signs of wear. I spend a good amount of my day typing and my polish (even my OPI) chips the day I do the manicure, so I was pleasantly surprised by this. I'm a licensed professional and this product is great! Works just like the popular brands but for a ridiculously low fraction of the price! 9 times out of 10 faults are due to operator errors so if you don't apply it right, or cure it right-it's not the product sweetheart! I love beetles brand of gel polish! I was worried the white would be an issue and I would have streaks or have to do a bunch of coats. Two coats of the white and it was flawless! I could have even gotten away with just one coat. It's also not heavy yet thick beautiful coverage. I don't feel like I have a giant layer of polish. I am super happy and pleased with the end result. DO NOT BUY THIS SET. Had issues with every single color; all polishes are very sheer and need at least 2+ coats. Both glitter polishes NEVER DRIED no matter how long I cured my nails under the lamp. Silver glitter and gold glitter are very different; silver was chunky and covered a bit more but gold had very small glitter pieces and has to do 6-7 coats in picture. My box also had some sort of blue paint inside that covered two of the nail polishes. Idk why these didn't work when I have a gel top coat from the same brand and it works fine. Read more
i love the beetles gel polish because of their affordable, cute color sets. this one was no different. i just got a 2014 Volkswagen Beetle & it’s red. So naturally i wanted to do a ladybug themed acrilyc set. I have had issues with gel polish peeling IF i don’t use my Mia Secret XTRA Bond liquid. I use it with nail dehydrator before i put on my tips and acrilyc, then I dehydrate the acrilyc, and apply the XTRA Bond again, wait for it to dry, then I apply my gel polish and it doesn’t peel and chip. If people say it peels or chips they may not be properly priming the nails first. I am very happy with my set! I used the red, white, and black for my set. Read more
