I would like to start by saying that I like the quality of the beetles polish. It's a nice thicker polish. Doesn't clump. Now for the negative...the bottles are very small. The colors really don't match. I didn't get a hunter green at all and the other colors are not near as dark as shown in the picture. The colors with glitter in them match perfect, it's just the solid colors and this isn't the first time that has happened with Beetles polish either. The colors are very nice! And I love that you get so many! However the bottle size sucks. I would rather pay more money and get bigger bottles. These are definitely sample sizes. Also the quality isn't the best. I've tried several gel polishes from this brand and none of them have ever lasted more than maybe 5 days without chipping. That being said you get what you pay for and I still love these and would buy again. Read more

Regular polish just doesn't stay on my nails because I'm rough on my hands and my nails are so thin and pliable - normal polish just cracks and chips within a day. I'd gotten gel at a salon before and it lasted so much longer and made my nails sturdier. So I figured I'd look around on Prime Day for a cheap way to try it out and found this set on sale (as well as a UV nail dryer). The mini bottles were perfect - it gave me a variety of colors to try out without making a serious monetary commitment but still catering to my mercurial sense of fashion.The first attempt was ok but I don't think I let the cure long enough because it started bubbling and peeling after a couple days. The second attempt was a total failure, likely because I'd tried applying a nail strengthener before the polish. Don't do that! Everything peeled clean off by the end of the day. On the bright side, it made redoing them easier because literally, all the polish came right off! Third time was a charm - probably because I followed the instructions to the letter this time lol. I think the color lasted almost 2 weeks that time. Success! I've now been using this kit for a few months and I'm about to get their Halloween colors since October's almost here.My one beef is the packaging. The name of the kit isn't printed on box, and the stickers showing the colors are on the top of the cap, even though they're covered by the foam panels holding the bottles. I think it would be helpful to have an additional sticker indicating the color on the bottle itself so that it's visible without having to completely remove the bottle. I found a solution for that, though: Just cut the tops off the foam! It's a minor annoyance, but figured I'd share my solution since I saw this complaint multiple times in the reviews. Read more

As other reviews say, the glitter polishes are fine and they're decent quality, however the solid colors do not match at all.In my case, the whole bottom row of colors shown in the product image did not match - with the exception of the gold and purple glitter ones. The creamy colored shade was white in my set (like white-out and it also had chunks in it, making it unusable). The pink was somewhat of a milky pink shade but it was so sheer that even 4+ layers barely made a difference. The purple shade in the middle, the bright red shade, and one of the darker reds/burgundy shades were translucent like jelly polishes. The other dark red/burgundy was nowhere near the same shade shown.I've purchased multiple sets from this brand because I keep wanting to give it a chance, but something has gone wrong each time. If this set was like $12-15, I could see it being worth it but seeing how tiny the bottles are and the constant color issues, I'd say just look elsewhere. Read more

Absolutely LOVE this brand of gel polish and the wide variety of colors is awesome!! After having a sub par gel manicure done at a salon I decided to see if I could do it myself better at home and thanks to these polishes, I can do just that. The colors are almost like a trial size, but with all the colors they give you, it’ll be a while before I need to buy them again unless I choose a different palette. The base coat and top coats are full size. Also, I feel like the matte top coat deserves special recognition! I have looked for a long time for a matte topcoat that was the real deal, and I have finally found the one I will keep going back to!! The difference in the gloss top coat and the matte make it seem like you can get 2 colors out of one! Great product all around! And the polish last for a long time too. I’ve had the same color on for 2 weeks as of today and I’m only changing it because I’m ready for a new color. Nothing to do at all with the wear and tear of the polish itself. Read more

I love these colors! They are small bottles. Probably can get a few uses out of them. For the price and the colors, I’m buying all the sets. The polish is great it only needs 2 coats, it lays down nice and smooth. This is good quality polish. It even comes with a base, top coat, and a top coat with a matte finish top coat as well if you like that. You should also buy a nail dehydrate and primer separately. Read more
