These bath bombs come in a sturdy brown box with pictures of different colored bath bombs on the front and back sides of the box. On the top of the box there is decorative scroll work and "Enjoy Your Bath Time" in large print, along with much smaller print describing how enjoyable the bath bombs will be. The box would be more giftable in another color, but this is still nice. The nine bath bombs are resting on a bed of white grass. The bombs are plain on one side and decorative on the other, so if this is being displayed or gifted, I recommend you open the box and turn them so that the decorative side is facing up--it definitely makes a difference in presentation, as you can see from my photos. The wonderful scent of these bath bombs was evident the minute I opened the box. They bubble nicely, and the fragrance is refreshing. The bath water turns color nicely, and these don't leave a stain or any residual when the bath is done. It would have been nice to have a label or a small printout identifying the different scents for these bath bombs. The product information says each bath bomb is individually infused with pure essential rose, lemon, jasmine, lavender, grapefruit, peppermint, frankincense or sweet orange oil. There are nine bath bombs, so the assumption is that these fragrances match eight of the nine, although who knows. I ordered this for my wife, who wondered what I was trying to say about things down there…I was just trying to do something nice and luxurious for a bath, and not provide any specific opinion on the state of things down under. Doh!The Good: this bomb has natural flower thingys in it. That can be a touch of fancy - until it is time to clean the tub, that is….can be messy with all those natural pieces parts floating about and sticking to the side of the jacuzzi tub…The Bad. Original price 11.99. Slashed at time of writing of this review to 6.99. If being used for vaginal odor, the product recommends 2-3 times per week. $21 ($36 at regular price) a week for stinky crotch treatment? I mean, I’m no expert in that affliction, but surely there’s more inexpensive remedies for that problem, and ones that directly go to the point of odor and don’t make your tub all afoul…The Ugly: if you are not the person using this product, take note of its specified purpose. If you are like me, just trying to order up something for a fancy bath, then I’m not saying this product is not a good choice (it does have a nice flowery smell in the bath) - I’m just saying pay more attention than I did. I love my bath bombs and use one almost every bath. There are certain things I look for with my bath bombs and this set rated slightly above average for their price point ($14.99 when I got them).Presentation: The box isn’t that great if you are wanting to use these for gifting. The brown coloring and material just isn’t what you normally see in a giftable box. The bath bombs themselves look nice with the botanicals on the top. I was able to smell them nicely from the box. This is a plus for me since I display my bath bombs in a basket on my countertop befort I use them.Fizz/Bubble: They fizz pretty well but are on the low side for bubbles. I don’t necessarily expect bubbles with my bath bombs, but I did get some that lasted a short period of time with these.Water Color: The water color wasn’t real intense or vivid. It was a paler, softer color. I like a little more color in my water than these provide, but it was still pretty and relaxing. I got about the amount of coloring as I expected with the amount of white in these bath bombs.Moisturizing: These bath bombs actually did better in this area than I expected. I could feel the essential oils in the water. My skin felt soft and hydrated after my bath. They didn’t leave the tub feeling slippery.Clean Up: I had no problem with any type of staining. The tub rinsed clean easily and no botanicals were left clinging to the sides of the tub.Overall, this set of bath bombs worked pretty well and met my expectations for the price point. Read more
