This is a knock off product. I've been using Bare Minerals for over 10 years. This particular one was completely the wrong color, had no coverage, and dried out my skin. It's basically overpriced tinted talc powder. Don't buy it! The real product is on the left of the pic. This fake one is on the right. Wrong color. And it smells like talc powder. What a rip off. I'll be sending this back asap. Read more

This is a fake BareMinerals. In the pictures, the container on the left is (real) BareMinerals and the container on the right is the one I received in the mail. The packaging is different and the color is very orange and does not cover. I have used BareMinerals for the past 10 years and there is no way this is a REAL BareMinerals foundation. Read more

I’m not sure if the company changed the amount of makeup you get or the seller somehow changed it but I ran out after only a few weeks. I realized then it must have only been partially full. I’ve used this product many times before and used the same amount I always do so I know it’s not my imagination. I’ll be ordering this from another website, not amazon, in the future. They have become very hit or miss with quality and reputable sellers lately. I have been a Prime member for many years and have noticed a decline in their regulation of sellers and quality lately. They’ve gotten too big now. They probably won’t even post this review. Read more

I've been using this product for years buying directly from the store. I decided to buy from amazon for a change because I was running low on my foundation and too lazy to go the store. I was confident that I could order the correct color because I was so familiar with the product and knew my exact shade. When I got this foundation in the mail the color was different and it has a gray tone to it. I even compared it to my original foundation of what was left and it is not the same color. It washed out my natural color and made my skin look dry and had no underlying orangey-reddish tone to it. Just washed out my face. I won't be ordering online again. Read more

FAKE! I started watching Broken on Netflix about counterfeit makeup being sold on amazon. I had been using bare minerals for years and lived the product. I figured it was cheaper on amazon so I bought the powder and the bronzer. I felt a difference right away with the texture of the powder. I needed to use more and it just wasn’t sticking. I thought it was the brush so I bought another one. It still want giving me the look and feel I was used to. My face was breaking out so I thought it was was time to wash my face. I couldn’t figure it out. I bought the real one today and I was shocked as I realized I was conned. If you zoom into the powder on the left on the cap, you’ll see sparkles! Those aren’t from the flag because I saw them also using a magnifying glass. The real one, which has the brighter letters, was a thicker mixture. The letters on the cap for the real one connect in some sections. DON’T BUY!!! Fake!! Read more

This is total counterfeit/ knock off. The packaging looks legitimate until you actually apply the powder. In the packaging it looks tinted but upon application it is basically white powder. Upon further investigation, the SKU label (pictured) they used covered up the fact that this is not a true BareMinerals product. I’ve used this shade (golden fair) for years and know that it matches my skin tone but this product is obviously not the same. Photos attached show the BareMinerals product I purchased at Ulta and the product received from amazon along with the applied powder. I would show both products applied side by side but I obviously ran out of the legitimate product and unable to do so. Luckily, I am able to return it for free Read more

I have been wearing Bare Escentuals original spf 15 foundation for 10 years.I'm in a bit of a financial downtime, so I decided to try ordering through Amazon instead of straight from Bare Escentuals.Big mistake. I did receive it, wrapped up like the real thing and all the stickers appear to be the real deal, however the makeup is not. It does not hardly even stick to the brush or my face. Maybe this is extremely old, or somehow has talc added to it - I can't figure it out.So, long story short - instead of saving money, I spent extra money. buying this and then having to go ahead & order from the company.Bare Minerals gets a 10 out of 10. What I received gets a 1 out of 10. Sorry - do not buy this. Read more

Same old, same old (in regards to if you’ve already used it). Though, Amazon buts these ugly barcode stickers on it and its really annoying to peel them off. Read more

This product is not genuine bare minerals. I have used this product for over 10 years. This one colour is all wrong, it doesn’t stay on for any period of time, smudges off with ease. Amazon need to address this as giving bad reputation to a great product! AVOID Read more

Packaging looks fake just wrapped in bubble wrap. I’ve brought from bare minerals for 10 years and the label at the bottom looks fake, the actual tub is very loose when you open it. Being a user of bare minerals when you open the lid the little label is always included in the lid but not this one! Minerals look quite cloggy! Only brought as was delivering same day as I needed make up for my lockdown birthday but not again - will go through John Lewis, look fantastic or bare minerals website in future Read more

Good once applied but first you have to try and deal with the inside seal which took half an hour at least and help from other people trying to dig out and release the small section that allowed one to access the powder within the sealed container. A totally bad design that is not user friendly Read more

Something not right with this product and wish I’d paid more attention to the reviews. Normally this product lasts several months, 6 or more and this is finished in around a month. Ive been using this for over 15 years, always bought from department stores. Also noticed that the lovely healthy glow I have when using is definitely not the case. This is matt and greying on my skin. Won’t be buying again and doubt the legitimacy of this product. Read more
