After my 3 year old used this for the first time nylon came off and she spitted out the metal thing that holds them.Terrible quality Read more
These toothbrushes look great but after my daughter used them for a week the bristles came out in her mouth. She does chew her toothbrushes somewhat, and this happens anytime we get dollarstore or cheap brushes. She is on her fourth toothbrush from this set and the same things happened each time. Read more
If your desire is to feed you children more plastic, have I got the product for YOU!!It only took four days of brushing my son’s teeth to dislodge the plastic for him to swallow, FAR LESS than any other bamboo toothbrush we’ve used!!!Sending the rest of them back, and I suggest you scroll past this product without wasting your time and energy, because you’ll be sending this hazard back as well.GREAT PRODUCT of you don’t care about your kid’s health! My kids chew their toothbrushes, and I guess I just didn't think these bamboo toothbrushes through. I felt bad about constantly throwing away plastic brushes, so I got these more enviro-friendly ones. Well, if you chew them, apparently, they will give you little bamboo splinters--similar to the little splinters from bamboo chopsticks. Not great for your gums! We also experienced the bristles falling out. And, in general, these brushes lasted a very short time before the heads became all matted and useless. Again, I do blame my kids for their tendency to chew while brushing, so if your kids are older and not such great chewers, these might be OK, but they're not great for my kids or kids who chomp on their brushes. Very short life toothbrushes. Bristles come off two weeks after using them (we have already use two out of the 8 and experienced the same problem) Read more
I am a dentist and I use these on my kids. I do not allow them to brush their teeth unsupervised because no matter what toothbrush they use once they bend the bristles they are no longer good plastic or bamboo. So I am there to make sure they are using proper technique and pressure which is very light, just touching the teeth. NOT chewing on bristles or pressing hard against the teeth. I personally brush my kids teeth for them first then showing them the proper way then allow them to brush after...so I know they are clean and my kids are still learning how to do it independently. This is a lot of work, I have 4 kids and I brush until they are at least 9 years old but I believe it's important to learn proper habits and technique.the texture does take some getting used to if you have been using plastic, but my kids have never complained...it was mainly myself and my boyfriend who had to get used to the feeling. it is not rough just different then the feel of plastic.we have been using bamboo toothbrushes for about 3 yrs and I am happy that there are many more choices as years have gone on. you can keep trying different brands, styles of handles and shapes of bristles to find ones you like just like you would with plastic.when we are done and change after 3 months use, we use needle nose pliers to simply take the bristles out and put in trash then put our bamboo handles in compost Read more
Do not buy these! They lose bristles and wood splinters come off. I was excited to find so many natural toothbrushes for my 2.5 yo son but the quality is just not there and I will not let him use these for fear of him getting a splinter in his mouth. Read more
Honest mom feedback here: I've used their other tooth brushes (the 1-4 numbered ones) and those were great for my 3 year old (who's now 4) to keep track of her own brush, learn numbers, etc. The bristles are soft and checked off that box for me as a mom. Now that I have two toddlers brushing teeth, I like this toothbrush pack because of the colored bristles and the animals on the bottom. My youngest is learning colors and animals and it's great way for the kids to know who's brush is who's. My youngest is really just learning what a toothbrush is and how to use it and the size is working just fine for her as well. I like having the large pack as well because if anyone is sick (which happens), we always get a new toothbrush after we're on the mend, just to be on the safe side with germs! Read more
