I bought this set mainly for the natural ingredients in the insect repellent for my 3 month old and I love it! It definitely keeps mosquitos & other flying pests away from my little one. My husband and I recently took our children to a water park for our daughter's birthday. We applied everyone with the sunblock and reapplied it as directed frequently. Our kids were so burnt by the end of the day. Do not waste you money! I always want to buy my kids the very best products that are good for them and so when I read the reviews and seen that they were kind of mixed I still thought I would give it a shot.. but boy, oh boy this was the huge mistake! My eight year old, 5 year old, 4 year old, 3 year old and 8 month old baby we're so burnt when we left the pool I was shocked! My husband and I even used the sunblock and reapplied it multiple times and are burnt as well! My advice don't buy this item! The bug repellent is very perfumey ,slimy/ sticky I felt like even after applying it multiple times I still found that I had mosquito bites on my ankles. Read more

Sunscreen: not oily, easy to spread and didn't leave streaks. Watery enough to spread thin. Baby did not have any burns or redness. Even did well on skin on face. Used only after baby was 6 months and older.Bug spray: sprayed on legs and arms and lower shirt and shorts. Seems to have worked well, baby did not have any bug bites.I liked these products because the scent was barely there and not strong , our baby was very sensitive to perfumes and would rash up with any regular baby product. Bug spray is way too greasy (doesn't dry, stayed greasy the entire time so it gets all over your hands if you touch your skin). I shook well as it stated and still had this issue. Product has not expired, and was not sitting in the sun once in my possession so I have to wonder if I got a bad batch or if it was improperly stored by the seller / MFR? Or is it just a bad product ?!?!I thought I liked the sunscreen the first day I used it as it sprayed out liquidy enough to spread easily and rub thoroughly into skin (it is very white, use sparingly and rub in well. If you use too much or don't rub in well enough, it will stay white and run at first contact with water! Not sure how "water resistant" it actually is, or if it's a function of how much you use / how well you rub it in). Unfortunately, I can no longer use this product either as the spray nozzle was clogged by the second day. For the remainder of the trip I would open the bottle, set down the spray nozzle top wherever I could, pour the sunscreen into my hand, pour back any excess that came out into my hand because it's very runny and comes out fast, and applied it that way (as I had no other sun protection option with me). However, after a few applications and days of doing this, the product is obviously compromised and no longer hygienic or sanitary for future use. I will have to toss both. Read more

As my children grow older they want to spend more and more time outside, sooooo I was in the market for a good, reliable sunscreen. I almost purchased The Honest Co, but the reviews and recent media attention have not been the greatest, so Babyganics was my final choice.Bug Spray - We live in an area that has had a ridiculous amount of rainfall this year and mosquitoes have been INSANE! I used this on my kids before going to play one evening. I rubbed in on my hands and then on their skin. I do think it is a little on the oily side, but aren't oils all the rage now? ;) It didn't bother me or the kids, and actually absorbed pretty quickly. While I still saw mosquitoes hover around them from time to time, they did not have a single bite on them. Therefore, I will continue to use this.Sunscreen - We recently went to a local water park during prime time sun exposure 11:00 am - 2:30 pm. And although it was kinda cloudy, the suns rays can still burn. I have sensitive olive completion skin. My daughter has non-sensitive olive skin, and my son has sensitive porcelain skin. All three of us used this sunscreen and managed to not even get the slightest bit pink. About an hour and a half in I THOUGHT my skin was starting to burn because it just had that feel, so I reapplied on all of us, but turns out it was just the heat of the day because we are burn free. I think it's extremely easy to apply and feels nice. Not greasy, heavy, or odorous.I am extremely happy with these products and will continue to purchase. Hope this helps! Read more
